Axe

Not to be confused with Baren's axe or the swinging axe from the Trap Events Pack.

The Axe is an item in Piggy and an melee weapon in Piggy: Intercity (DEMO). It appears only in Decay, where you can use it to stop the fan, or chop down planks and kill infecteds as a replacement for the Crossbow, it is also used as the weapon of Doggy in Forest and his Skin Counterpart.

Overview[]

The axe is known as one of the most powerful melee weapons in Piggy: Intercity (DEMO) due to its exceptional damage and stun time. This and the pickaxe are normally used together, as they are the two melee weapons with the highest damage.

The axe is Doggy's axe model. It is a fire axe with a lightish-black handle, darkish-brown wooden stem, and a red head with gray blades.

Trivia[]

This axe is the same weapon Doggy used in Forest and Plant, and the same weapon the Doggy skin uses.
The axe is only beaten in damage by certain guns and developer exclusive weapons, such as MiniToon's Laser Saber.
- Excluding MiniToon's Laser Saber, Experia's Laser Saber, and the Red Bat, this is currently the best melee weapon, at least in terms of damage.
The mesh for the axe was at one point deleted, causing the weapon to be invisible when the Doggy skin was equipped, or when using it in Piggy: Intercity.
- This was patched, and the axe is visible again.
In Decay, the axe can be used as an alternative for killing the Decaying Infected NPCs and destroying boards rather then using the Crossbow.
