"I gots an idea! What if we go steal him somethin' nice?"
― Billy, Heist
Billy is a character in Piggy: Book 2 who was created by TenuousFlea. He was a friend of Willow, Rash, and Pony prior to the infection, as he helped them in a robbery for a pie to give to William. Although he appears in Piggy: Book 1 credits for the first time, the first time he appears in-person is in Heist. It is unknown what happened to him during the infection, though one of the notes in Heist hints that he probably left Lucella before the infection even started.
Appearance
Billy is a dark tan bull with small brown cheeks and a bright orange, capsule-shaped nose with black nostrils. He has wide, angular, dark gray, sideways-facing, upwards-curving horns, beneath which are pentagon-shaped, downward-facing ears with brownish fur inside. Since he is a bodybuilder, he has a muscular physique, and he also has the tail of a bull. He wears dark blue shirt, navy blue pants and black jacket with fur hood and dark grey drawstrings with yellowish aglets. He also wears a dark green helmet with a thick, dark gray stripe along the center, a black, somewhat rectangular forehead guard, and black chin-straps with two metal studs on both sides. In addition, he has a silver nose-ring in his nose and wears a black, spiked bracelet on his right arm.
During the heist, he is also seen wearing a black mask over his eyes. When wearing said mask, he also has eyebrows which point downwards, giving him an angry facial expression.
History
Early Life
Before the infection started, Billy was a bull who lived in Evalia (likely in Lucella). Judging by his muscular body physique, he was almost certainly a bodybuilder. Due to him being Russian-American, he did not speak English well, as seen by his frequent misspelling. He was also a friend of Willow, William, Rash and Pony, though it is unknown how they all met.
The Heist
One night in the alleyways, Willow tells Billy, Rash and Pony that William is upset lately, that he doesn't even want to talk to her and that she doesn't know what to do. Billy suggests to the team to steal something nice to William. Everyone agrees to this except for Pony, who suggests buying something to William instead, only for Willow to remind him that they're broke. Pony then begrudgingly agrees to steal.
The team decides to steal a pie from Baba's Pies, a pie warehouse guarded by a police officer named Poley. During the Heist, Pony or Willow (depending who you're playing as) gives a barbell to Billy, which he uses to break the vents of Baba's Pies, then jump inside the warehouse through the vent and open it from inside, allowing his team to proceed and steal the pie, which they succeed doing. To the gang's misfortune, it is soon discovered William has already left, presumably to find Daisy, leaving only his scarf behind. True to the form, this caused great sorrow to Willow.
Going to the Metro
In credits of Plant - Chapter 12, Billy is seen in a photograph with Mimi on a tram at the Metro Station, which probably took place after the events of Heist. It was revealed in one of the notes found in the Heist map that Billy had a dream of travelling around the world, so this is probably the reason why he is seen inside the tram in the photograph. This also suggests that Mimi has encountered him at least once.

Relationships
This section of the page is about the interactions between Billy and other characters.
Character | Status | Description of Interaction | First Interaction Location |
---|---|---|---|
Willow | Before the infection: Friends
During the infection: Unknown |
Since Billy worked for the gang that Willow created, Willow was his boss. He suggested to Willow that they steal something for William, and consequently helped Willow and Pony by opening the warehouse which contained the pie, which was one of the most important steps in the whole Heist. Because of all of this, it appears that they are on positive terms. | Unknown |
Rash | Before the infection: Friends
During the infection: Unknown |
Billy and Rash worked together during the Heist to steal the pie for William. Although they don't have much interaction, it appears that they are on positive terms. | Unknown |
Pony | Before the infection: Friends
During the infection: Unknown |
Billy and Pony worked together during the Heist to steal the pie for William and helped Pony break into the warehouse (depending if you play as Pony or not). It appears that they are on positive terms. | Unknown |
Poley | Before the infection: Enemies
During the infection: Unknown |
Since he was Willow's, Pony's and Rash's accomplice during the Heist, Billy was in danger of being arrested by Poley. Additionally, since Poley also wanted to arrest his friends, they are on negative terms. | Heist |
William | Before the infection: Friends
During the infection: Unknown |
Although it is unknown if Billy had any interactions with William, it is possible that he did and that they are on good terms, especially judging by the fact that William is Willow's brother. Slim evidence for this is the fact that, when Willow tells Billy, Rash and Pony about William having a hissy fit, Billy suggests to her to steal him something nice, thus indirectly mentioning William. However, this could also be interpreted as the first time he has actually heard of William. | Unknown |
Mimi | Before the infection: Acquaintances
During the infection: Unknown |
In a seventh photo in Piggy: Book 1 Credits, Mimi is seen in Metro, boarding the tram in which Billy is already sitting. This suggest that Mimi met Billy at least once, but their interaction is largely unknown. | Metro |
Trivia
- Judging by the fact that Billy's quotes are often misspelled, he is most likely the one who wrote the note: "One day, I wantsa get outta here. I wantsa travel the world, see pretty things! Bizniss with Willow's goin' good, so may be soon!"
- Excluding this note, Billy has only three quotes in total, with two of them being randomly chosen during the gameplay section of Heist.
- It is unknown why Billy isn't mentioned in any of the notes written by The Silver Paw and Willow.
- Although he doesn’t appear in the ending cutscene of Heist, he does appear in the end credits at the end of Plant in a photo, he is seen sitting on one of the seats inside the tram in the Metro.
- Despite his skin counterpart having a jumpscare sound when killing a player, he doesn't have an activation noise in Heist. This makes him one of the few helpful NPCs to lack an activation noise, the others being Bunny, Zee, Willow, Rash and Tigry.
- In all of Billy's merchandise, he doesn't have cheeks, unlike his in-game design.
- Billy's redesign made his first debut in a trailer made by TenuousFlea during the new skin redesign update. It showed Billy walking through the Alleys and curling his barbell in a corner. This could’ve been hinting to the Heist map, but this is unlikely, as Heist was released 4 months later.
- Interestingly, TenuousFlea also said in one of his videos that this trailer was supposed to include Billy being chased by the police in narrow streets, which is fitting now judging by the fact that Billy is a criminal canonically.
- Billy was confirmed to be a canon character before he was even added in Heist chapter. More specifically, MiniToon said that Billy is canon in one of his interviews with Ant_Antixx due to Billy appearing in a photo in Piggy: Book 1 credits.
- According to TenuousFlea, he claimed that Billy was originally intended to be infected and serve as a bot for Plant - Chapter 12, but was replaced by Badgy.
- This is probably because Billy's old model was a construction worker and thus didn't fit the chapter much, though he did end up being added in the photo of Piggy: Book 1 credits as an uninfected, however this is most likely a hunch as TenuousFlea had never contributed to the story at the time.
- Additionally, since Billy skin's revamp came out long after Plant - Chapter 12 was released, an uninfected version of Billy's old skin design was inserted in the photo. Despite this, Billy's new model didn't replace the old one in Piggy: Book 1 credits, even after the redesigns came out.
- Billy one of the few fan-suggested or fan-made characters that became canon, with the others being Zompiggy and Budgey.
- Additionally, Billy is the only character out of these three who isn't modeled by MiniToon that is actually canon.
- His infected skin counterpart has green iris in his right eye, which may mean that he was an independent individual before the infection.
- According to TenuousFlea, Billy is straight, as confirmed on Discord.
- In one of his tweets, TenuousFlea said that Billy is a Russian-American.
- The design of Billy's helmet looks vaguely similar to an ushanka.
- According to TenuousFlea, Billy's full name is Brian Billy.[1]
- On September 2nd 2021, MiniToon tweeted an image on Twitter relating to Heist chapter, captioning the image with this emoji:🏋️. This emoji was almost certainly a reference to Billy, since Billy is a bodybuilder.
- Story-wise, it is unknown why Poley is ignoring Billy and Rash and only trying to arrest Willow and Pony, though this is probably for the sake of gameplay and because of the fact that Billy and Rash are NPCs while Willow and Pony are controlled by players.
- According to TenuousFlea, Billy was planned to be one of the guard NPCs in Refinery, but TenuousFlea didn't see MiniToon's message about it in time due to his time zone, so the idea was scrapped.[2]
- Just like his skin counterpart, Billy is left-handed, much in contrast to many other characters in Piggy.
- Although Billy does appear in the Piggy: Infected novel, he displays numerous physical and lore-based differences.
- In terms of appearance, novel version of Billy has considerably smaller horns, lacks tail and has larger cheeks, making him look somewhat younger compared to his original design. His outfit is reduced to jeans, shoes and t-shirt. Also, unlike Billy in-game, novel version of Billy has single plates at the end of his shaft as opposed to two seen in-game.
- In terms of lore, novel version of Billy is a member of The Silver Paw, while Billy in the original game is not, although this change was probably based on a scrapped in-game idea to make Billy one of the guards at the Refinery, which has already been mentioned on this page. Although novel version of Billy does know Willow like in the game, he is also an ally of Ben and Ollie, and even more strangely, he also knows Badgy and his siblings. In the original game, however, there is no evidence that Billy has ever even encountered Badgy. This change might have been based on the fact that Billy skin and Badgy were both added into the game when Plant - Chapter 12 was released.
- According to a recent reply by TenuousFlea on X, Billy has a partner.
