The Black Key is a progression item in Piggy.

Obtainability[]
In Mansion, players can walk into the pumpkins with any item to reveal the candles inside and then collect them. The candles will spawn in a circle in a portal room on a bed. Once all the candles are present, you can click them to light up. Once all are lit, a purple swirling portal will appear on the bed, and the Black Key will rise up out of it, but then teleport onto Duocara's back. Collect it off Duocara by shooting them, using Camouflage or waiting for their face to turn blue. Afterwards, you can unlock the Black Lock Door and unlock Bela. This won't work if the bot, Duocara, isn't on the map, meaning you have to choose a mode which has the bot in it.

Trivia[]
- In Bela’s quest, this is spawned through a process similar to that of Mr. Stitchy, via collecting and lighting candles.
- Unlike Mr. Stitchy, who only requires 5 candles to spawn, this requires 6.
- In Mansion, the inventory icon for this key reuses the icon for the white key, however, its icon is unique in Distorted Holiday.
