The Claw Puzzle is a mechanic exclusive to Decay. It requires two items to progress: the lever and the burlap bag. Once completed, it grants access to a ventilation shaft leading to the first chase sequence.
Mechanic[]
The control switch and control panel are found on the top platform. The control switch requires a lever, which is found in the room on the first floor. After placing the lever and activating the switch, the burlap bag must be placed into the claw. The burlap bag can be found on a shelf in a room on the second floor. After attaching the bag to the claw, the switch must be activated for a second time to bring the bag back up.
After bringing the bag up, it must be dropped onto a weak spot onto the floor. This can be done by using the control panel. The directions the bag must be moved are the following:
- Forward x2
- Right
- Forward x2
- Left
- Backward
After dropping the bag, a hole will open up in the ground which leads to a ventilation shaft.
