Clowny is a skin in Piggy. They are the main bot and antagonist of Carnival - Chapter 8. They were added with the Carnival update alongside Pony and the Slow traps. They also appear in the thumbnail of Swarm gamemode, along with Memory and Mari. They also appear in the Piggy: Book 1 Credits where they worked as a clown at Mr. P's carnival.
Clowny (Female) and Clowny (Classic) are their only alternate skins, and it can be obtained through either completing the Daily Skin Quests, or claiming it in the Mrs. P Doughboi Campaign.
Appearance[]
Clowny has two blue hair buns popping out of each side of their head and arms colored white. Their attire is a blue sleeveless suit with two large black buttons and a red collar. They have black sclerae, a green pupil in their right eye, pink cheeks, a snout, a red nose, and blue eyeshadow on their face. Their weapon is a huge carnival hammer with colorful spots on it. Clowny’s species is currently unknown.
Nearly identical to their original counterpart, with the exception that they wear a dress, have pink, shorter hair buns with additional hair in-between, a pink nose and uses the Aladdin arm model for their arms.
They look mostly the same as in the main game, but their buttons are in the same color as their suit.
They also have two alternate skins, those being Clowny (Inverse) and Clowny (Metallic Cyan).Animations[]
Idle[]
Bends down with the left leg in front. Their head tilts to their right every now and then as their arms are positioned forward and spread out.
Walking[]
Same as idle but with legs moving. Every now and then, they hold their left hand to their head, as if they’re laughing.
Jumpscare[]
They grab the mallet with both hands, then spin 360 degrees clockwise, and hit the Player with the mallet simultaneously.
Stunned[]
Looks down and puts their arms down, with occasional head twitching (overlays the current animation).
History[]
Job[]
Before the infection, Clowny worked as a clown at Mr. P's carnival. This is confirmed in one of the photos in Piggy: Book 1: credits.
Infection[]
When the infection started, Clowny was infected at the carnival, though it is unknown how they got infected or who infected them.
Attacking the Player[]
When the Player arrived at the carnival, Clowny attacked them but failed to infect them.
Trivia[]
- They are one of the many skins to tilt their head every now and then.
- MiniToon confirmed in his Doggy's Funeral stream that Clowny and Torcher are animals.[1]
- In the same livestream timestamped 1:29:15, he confirms that Clowny isn’t female. He also states that he created a female Clowny model, and that he might show it off some time, though he never ended up doing so.
- There is a possibility the aforementioned female Clowny model is the same as or inspired Clowny's female alternate skin.

- Despite their gender being unknown, they are referred to as he in The 100% Official Piggy Survival Manual. This applies to Torcher.
- As of October 4th, 2025, the game has been updated to add daily quests which added a lot of alt skins which includes a female Clowny alt.
- Given the confirmation that Clowny is an animal, it’s likely that their hair bun is actually a wig.
- They are the first canon skin in the game to have a green pupil.
- They are the first skin to wear something on their torso, in this case, buttons. Another skin that wears something on their torso is Badgy.
- They are the first skin to wear something on their neck.

- Clowny is the only purchasable skin to have hair, as the rest of them are either user-exclusive (Lisa), removed (Sketchy), or event-exclusive (the RB Battles hosts)
- They are the first skin to laugh in their jumpscare, the second being Silzous and the third being Sam.
- They share their token price with Archie, costing 385 Piggy Tokens.
- Coincidentally, both skins are the main bots of Chapter 8 for their respective books.
- Clowny is the first character who spins their whole body in their jumpscare.
- When zooming into their right eye, you can see their head slightly overlaps.
- They are the oldest skin in Piggy to have remained unchanged since it's release.
- If you zoom into their head, or join a round before everything is fully loaded, you can see the default Smile face from Roblox.
- The Clowny bots in Build Mode and Swarm use a new material for their head model instead of the old glass material. However the skin and Carnival bot still use the old material.
- Strangely, Clowny's default skin in PIGGY: Hunt has blue buttons as opposed to the black button counterparts.
- On top of this, all other variants have black buttons.
- Clowny has two scrapped Daily Skin Quest variants, one being a red variant, based on PhatMojo toys, and a green variant.
- These were both cut in favor of the Clowny (Female) alternate skin.
- Interestingly, despite this fact, there is a bug with the Daily Skin Quest UI, where if the player's data hasnt loaded, both Book 1 & Book 2 UI's will display "Green Clowny" as a placeholder.
- Even more interesting, the "Green Clowny" text is formatted incorrectly compared to every other alternate skin in the game.

Sound Origins[]
- Clowny's soundtrack is an audio from the Roblox Audio Library called Freak Circus, but slowed down (Playback Speed = 0.9). The soundtrack was composed by Eric Cervera.
- Clowny's jumpscare sound is an audio from the Roblox Audio Library called Laugh by Serenevoxol, but lower pitched (Playback Speed = 0.7).
- Clowny's hit sound is an audio called bladedismember3, however the sound can't be found on the ROBLOX Creator Hub today.
