The Crossbow is an item in Piggy. It appears in Metro - Chapter 7 and Decay and uses carrots as ammunition.
Appearance
It has a light brown rectangular stick as its "body". It further holds a metal triangle in the front. There is also a bow at the front with a white string.
In Decay, there are some embellishments and a small carrot etched into the side of the crossbow.
Locations
School - Chapter 5 and Hospital - Chapter 6
In both of these chapters, Bunny wields it and will start chasing Piggy and stun them for 20 seconds if given a carrot.
Metro - Chapter 7
Right next to Bunny.
Decay
Spawns on the ground near the player.
Usage
School, Hospital, and Metro
- It works like the gun, except instead of ammo, you need carrots (similar to how Bunny works with the crossbow). Using it will knock Piggy out for 20 seconds, like the gun.
- Requirements: Carrot (as ammo), located only in the Metro, next to Bunny in the player spawn.
Decay
- Can be used to interact with the map, such as shooting TV screens and shooting planks in order to progress. It can also be used on the glass to avoid using the Screwdriver.
- Used to eliminate Decaying Infected. It takes three or more (Depending on the amount of players playing) to do so.
Trivia
- Bunny and her skin counterpart uses this as her weapon.
- When holding the Crossbow, you can hover your mouse or hold your finger on the item's button at the bottom of the screen to display a small caption saying how much ammo is in the crossbow (Appears in the format 'Ammo - #). This can be done with the gun as well.
