Crove is a skin in Piggy. They were released in Part 1 of the Spooky Hunt update, along with Pumpiggy, Mr. Stitchy and the Tombstone Trap.
Appearance
Crove is a dark gray crow with a plumage tail similar to Budgey's but instead it's dark gray. They also have light gray cheeks, a chin plumage, and a pale gray beak. They wear a black dress that resembles a cloak which consists of a hood, and carry a gray scythe as a weapon. Their eyes have black sclerae and a large, white pupil in their right eye, and they have eyebrows that point downwards, giving them an angry facial expression.
Animations
Idle
Stands up straight, while twitching their head to the right often, nods a little during head twitch.
Walking
Appear to bend their knees while walking.
Jumpscare
Steps backward and throws their scythe into the player, catching it after killing, sort of like a boomerang.
Stunned
Looks down and puts arms down, with occasional head twitching (overlays the current animation).
Trivia
- Crove's weapon is an untextured version of the Skeleton Scythe from the Roblox Catalog.[1]
- Their arms use the Telamon's Business Casual bundle arms in the Roblox Catalog just like Owell and Phenna.[2]
- This is the first character to wield a melee weapon yet use it as a projectile, as they throw the scythe like a boomerang in the jumpscare animation.
- They are the one of the few skins in the game with a soundtrack composed by MiniToon, the others being Zompiggy, Elly, Zizzy, Katie and Decaying Infected.
- Strangely, their right cheek sticks out further than their left cheek. This is due to sharing their head model with Budgey who is also applied.
- Crove shares the same cost as Billy, Mari, Fergus, Shardantus, Marley Russell, Glenn and Jakayla, costing 500
. - The teaser of Crove was a hint about the Tombstone Trap quest, which was located in Alleys.
- Bess has the same hood as Crove, but recolored.
- They used to have the longest soundtrack out of all the characters but got beaten by Gold Piggy, whose soundtrack lasts 7:52, surpassing Crove's 6:43.
- Crove shares their walking animation with Gryffyn.
- As it can be told by their appearance, Crove is based on the Grim Reaper, which is a creature often portrayed in mythologies that are known to have the duty to claim the souls of the deceased to guide their spirits to the afterlife.
- This concludes that they are the first skin to be based on a mythological creature, being the Grim Reaper. The others are Kraxicorde, Jakayla and Phenna, which are based on a Kraken, a Chinese Lung Dragon, and a Phoenix, respectively.
- They are one of the only two skins to have their jumpscare hit sound changed before the audio update, the other being Devil.
- According to MiniToon, Crove doesn't have a definitive gender.[3]

Crove (Alternate) is a limited alternate skin obtained through Season 2 - The Haunting. They are one of the skins for Season 2, along with Bakari.
Appearance
In their alternate costume, Crove wields a long, staff-like cane. They don a tophat-like hat, wearing a black dress with long sleeves connected to a hood. They wear a black-eyed mask used by Plague Doctors and a golden-buckled belt.
Animations
Idle
Holds cane while moving up and down in a breathing motion.
Walking
Shuffles forwards.
Jumpscare
Attacks the player with the cane.
Stunned
Looks down and puts arms down, with occasional head twitching (overlays the current animation).
Trivia
- This is the second skin to have an unknown pupil color, with the first being Torcher.
- Coincidentally, both skins have red lenses covering their pupils.
- This is the second skin to be an alternate skin, with Badgy (Alternate) being first, Piggy (Distorted) being third, Zizzy (Soldier) being fourth, Kamosi (Alternate) being fifth, Katie (Alternate being sixth, and Bunny (Alternate) being seventh.
- This skin resembles a plague doctor, who treated victims of the plague during medieval Europe.
- They're the first skin to have actual layered footwear.
