Distorted Holiday was the second Christmas-themed map in and 36th chapter overall in Piggy. It released alongside the rest of the Paranormal Pigmas update on December 7th, 2024 before the chapter was removed on January 26th, 2025.

Appearance

The map slightly mirrors the Winter Holiday map, as it’s a virtual reality world, having a similar cabin layout and maze and ice structures, despite this it has a more ominous type ambience and other structures such as a barn, an underground layer and a broken down house. The map also features distorted areas with red lightning and grown-in black tentacles throughout the map with ominous ambience playing with whispers and sounds in some places and the trees are now leafless trees rather than pine trees. Overall the map is more detailed than its predecessor.

Storyline

One night, Georgie, Zee and Zuzy find a Virtual Reality headset in one of the cabins they live near. They decide to trick The Player while they're sleeping by putting the headset on them.

The Player finds themselves in a distorted and twisted version of the cabin complex they live in, and they run from a stuffed bird. The Player eventually burns them with three torches, and as Sam inches closer to The Player; The children pull the headset off The Player, explaining what happened. They apologize to them, and head off to bed.

The Player stays behind and inspects the headset, before leaving as well. It is later revealed the headset was made by NETIKZ.

Georgie: “Relax Anonymous User, it's just us!”

Anonymous User: "What just happened?"

Zuzy: "We found this weird looking thing in the cabin outside and thought it'd be funny to put it on you. Before you get mad, you should know it was Zee's idea."

(Zee facepalms)

Anonymous User: "I don't believe that."

Georgie: "We're sorry Anonymous User! We didn't mean for it to lead to all of this!"

Anonymous User: "It's all good guys, just please go back to bed."

Orange Lock Wardrobe: Located in the left main cabin half next to the door near the maze side of the map.

Snowball Event: A giant Snowball located to the left side of the Ice Fort, used to break the large ice spike covering the Blue Lock Door.

Blue Lock Door: Located under the large ice spike in the back right of the Ice Fort, accessed by destroying the ice spike with the Snowball. The basement the blue door opens contains one of 3 torches.

Ladder: Located in the right main cabin half where the player spawns near the green key door and the door near the Ice Fort and Barn side.

Snowpiles: Located on all four sides of the main cabin.

Purple Safe: Located in the upstairs of the red key barn.

Vines: Located in front of all of the entrances of the maze. The maze contains one of 3 torches.

Black Lock Door: Located behind the maze at the entrance of the distorted cabin.

Player Spawn: One of the halves of the cabin.

Piggy Spawn: Inside where the Ice Fort is.

Trivia

• Distorted Holiday is the first chapter with an intro cutscene that has no dialogue.
• This map is the first to lock gamemodes; Player, Traitor, and Tag.
  • The bot needs to be defeated in order to escape, thus making the map impossible for players if it never spawns in.
    • Oddly, Traitor isn't allowed even though it spawns a bot.
• This map is presumed to be non-canon, as it is a presumed continuation of Winter Holiday, but has canon elements such as the NETIKZ Virtual Reality headset, possibly teasing what’s coming soon.
  • A simple explanation could be that while the map itself isn't canon, the headset at the end is.
• The first idea for this map was to just revamp Winter Holiday confirmed by Epic_Tank.
• This is the first map to have an Infection + Bot game mode as the chapter cannot be beaten without the bot.
• There is currently a bug where if the bot kills you, you stay in a black screen if it’s Infection + Bot.
• Distorted Holiday is the fourth chapter that requires the player to interact with a bot of the map to beat it, being Sam, with the first Mr. P in Plant, the second being Ombra in Breakout, and the third being Eelektra in the Metallica x Piggy Event.
  • Excluding secondary bots, it is third behind the Metallica x Piggy Event.
• The coded notes throughout the chapter translate to “DOES ANYONE KNOW YOU WELL ENOUGH TO TELL IF YOURE A ROBOT ?”
  • This is hinting at the theory that certain characters could potentially be robots.
• The map's ambience soundtrack is an audio from the Roblox Audio Library called Eerie Wind Constant 2 (SFX).
  • This is the same soundtrack used on the Doggy skin and Bot.
• This map reuses Epic_Tank's feature of having a radio playing Christmas music which he previously added in his “Piggy but it’s 100 players” fan game on the Winter Holiday map.
• There is a glitch where player infected are unable to place traps until after the 9:30 mark.
  • This is to prevent players from placing traps in the Piggy Waiting Room, but due to this chapter having over ten minutes, infected are spawned in to the map before then.
• The rug pattern at the intro cutscene is a reference to the Titanic's 1st Class Reception Room floor.
• This was the last map to be released in 2024.
• Even though Season 7 ended on January 20th, Distorted Holiday remained playable until the Mrs. P skin quest was released on January 26th.
• There is a scrapped version of the ending cutscene where you would briefly see Sam's view as they walked towards the player.
