Not to be confused with the Car or the Police Car. |
The Drivable Car is an event in Build Mode and appears in Piggy: Intercity.
Appearance[]
It is a car that can be colored and has four seats, a steering wheel, four wheels, and a gas item bubble above.
Usage[]
The drivable car can be used as a way to move around the map quickly and to break down Crash Blocks. The car can move over acid though it still allows anybody inside to be killed by Piggy. The car has two seats: One passenger seat and one driver seat. Only players can use this as Piggy cannot sit in the seats. Finally, it requires a gas can to move. In Piggy: Intercity, you are able to run infected over with your car, which will knock them back for a few seconds.
Piggy: Intercity Locations[]
There are a set of locations in which cars can be found. These locations are: Sometimes in City roads, scattered around the outskirts of the City; and sometimes the beach.
Trivia[]
- Drivable cars previously only worked properly if you used the plastic material on them.
- These were leaked by MiniToon on Twitter.
- Interestingly in that same tweet, he suggested adding them with a "Build Mode Block Pack", which you could buy with points to earn a set of events, blocks and items permanently. Certain season items like the Holiday Lights Pack are the closest we’ve gotten to this.
- These are the only rideable vehicles in Piggy (not including Doggy's car in Station or the train in Metro).
- These move much faster than both the players and Piggy.
- This can make them difficult to control.
- There was a bug with these cars, meaning that if you played a round, the cars flip upside down, and you were not able to ride them. This could be prevented by placing it one block above the ground.
- You can still die in a car.
- If a car falls off the map, it will respawn in its original spawn location. If it was given gas before falling it won't require the player to use the gas again.
- Cars that weren't given fuel can still break crash blocks.
- The Drivable Car, along with the Car, loosely resemble a Volkswagen Beetle.
