The Elephant Paintings are mechanics and decorations that appear exclusively in Mansion. Three require the Paint Buckets, while their decoration variants are do not require any items. There are three different variants: the Elly Portrait, the Eddy Portrait, and the Unidentified Elephant Portrait.

Physical Appearances

All the paintings include an elephant in the center. These elephants include: Elly, Eddy, and an Unidentified Elephant.

The Sunset Painting is features a green hill in the background and the bright yellow sun in the center-left. The sky is orange, but fades into yellow closer to the sun. The portrait requires the Sunset Paint Bucket.

The Night Painting features a dark green hill in the background and the glowing white moon in the top-left. The sky is dark blue. The portrait requires the Night Paint Bucket.

The Day Painting features a bright green hill in the background and a bright yellow sun in the top-left against a cyan background. The portrait requires the Day Paint Bucket.

Usage

Mechanics

These three portraits start out with a gray background. Each portrait has a designated paint bucket, and by obtaining a bucket and holding it up to the painting, the background colors appear onto the paintings. Once all three portraits are painted, a black safe on a crate in the room opens, providing the player with the White Key. These portraits can be painted using any bucket, but the correct way to paint the portraits and open the safe changes each round. For example, the Elly portrait might require the Sunset Paint one round, but the Night Paint in another.

Combinations

Each paint bucket can only be used on one portrait. There are six possible combinations that can be used to open the black lock safe:

• Sunset Paint on the Elly Portrait, Day Paint on the Eddy Portrait, Night Paint on the Unidentified Elephant Portrait

• Day Paint on the Elly Portrait, Sunset Paint on the Eddy Portrait, Night Paint on the Unidentified Elephant Portrait
• Night Paint on the Elly Portrait, Day Paint on the Eddy Portrait, Sunset Paint on the Unidentified Elephant Portrait
• Night Paint on the Elly Portrait, Sunset Paint on the Eddy Portrait, Day Paint on the Unidentified Elephant Portrait

Decorations

These portraits can be found on numerous walls around Mansion, and show what paint bucket to use on the three paintable portraits. The elephants and background color change on each portrait per round, based on the correct background color that needs to be used on the paintable portraits. They do not require Paint Buckets to color them.
