Filip is a character in Piggy: Book 2 and The Silver Paw member. He makes his first debut in Refinery - Chapter 3 (where he acts as a secondary bot), the end cutscene of The Safe Place - Chapter 4, and throughout the gameplay of Factory - Chapter 6 in a container, where he can be rescued for the Savior and Survivor Ending. He also briefly appears in the ending cutscene of Heist.

Physical Appearance

Filip is a brown (dark-skinned) coyote with tan snout, black nose, three black whiskers on each side of his snout, triangular ears with black inside, and fur on sides of his head. He wears a gray beret, gray shirt, blackish-blue pants and black armbands. His weapon is a bat.

History

Start of the Infection

Very little is known about Filip during the start of the infection, other than the fact that he was a coyote who lived in Evalia and that he joined The Silver Paw when the infection started. It is still unknown how they met.

Breaking into the Hospital

At some point during the infection, Willow, Pony, Filip, Katie and Pandy decide to steal a potion of Substance - 128 in the Hospital. This particular scene is seen in the ending cutscene of Heist. Willow then went with Pony to the forest to infect Doggy and the Player with it, though this worked only on Doggy. Because of this, Pony felt guilty ever since and left the Silver Paw, joining Zizzy's group of survivors in the Safe Place instead. Because of this, Filip and most of The Silver Paw viewed him as a traitor.

Refinery - Chapter 3

When Willow, Baren, Tigry, Kitty, and Pandy return to the refinery with captured Zizzy, Filip is tasked with guarding Zizzy's prison cell. When Pony and the Player arrive to rescue Zizzy, however, they trick Filip into running after a toy car into a room, which they lock on him. After the Player and Pony leave the refinery, Filip is eventually presumably freed by another member of The Silver Paw.

The Safe Place - Chapter 4

Filip, along with the rest of The Silver Paw (except Tigry) arrive at the Safe Place. Baren uses a bazooka to create blast holes in the Safe Place, forcing the members to escape. Once they get outside, Willow tells Filip and Kitty to capture the members, and take them as prisoners to the factory.

Factory - Chapter 6

While the Player was freeing the Safe Place members, Filip was in the room with conveyor belts, writing a note to Felix, when suddenly, something closed a crate on him, and screwed it tight, trapping him. If the Player frees him, he makes his way to the exit. When the Player and Pony flee the factory, Willow tries to kill the Player, but Katie stops her, telling her that they saved the members' lives. On the Survivor Continuity, Mimi tells the Player that she's going to stay behind with The Silver Paw members to help with Giraffy's wound. On the Savior Continuity, Filip and the other members will help Giraffy, while Mimi goes with the Safe Place group and Willow.

Personality

As The Silver Paw member, Filip was very aggressive towards the Safe Place group. In earlier chapters of Book 2, Filip is shown to be very aggressive towards the Player and Pony, mainly because Pony betrayed T.S.P., and the Player arrested T.S.P.'s leader, Willow. Filip's disliking of the group continued as he went with The Silver Paw to capture the Safe Place members, taking the group into a cell. He becomes friendly to the Safe Place once the Player saves him in the Factory. After all his friends (Or him and most of his friends if you're on the survivor continuity) escape, then they agree to help Giraffy with his gunshot wound.

Trivia

• MiniToon revealed that Filip is a coyote on one of his Twitter messages. Before this, he only said that Filip's species belonged to the Canidae family.
  • This indicates that he is the second character to break the naming rule, as he is said to be a coyote and his name starts with an "F". The first one to do this is Georgie.
  • He was widely speculated to be a fox, ferret, dog or numerous other species before his actual species was revealed.
• His weapon can be found in the Roblox Catalog.
• He, Felix, and Katie are the first characters in Piggy who aren't pigs but use a bat as a weapon.
• He is required in order to escape the Refinery. If you give a battery to Pony and open the green keycard door, Pony will send a car across the room that Filip will follow. Once he is trapped, the light turns green, and you can escape.
  • This action will function/work even if he is not standing in front of the door.
• He shares his head model with Felix, but his head is just different colors than Felix, which may explain why he was widely believed to be a fox by some people.
• He and Tigry are the only members of The Silver Paw to personally sign their notes.
• He and Baren are the only two members of The Silver Paw who do not have skins yet.
• He was added to Build Mode on June 12th, 2021.
• He is presumably good friends with Felix, as he writes a humorous note to him in Factory.
• He works slightly different than the other guards in Refinery, instead of returning to his spot he stays in place once he is done chasing survivors and he can't be activated again.

Sound Origins

• The origin of his jumpscare sound is an audio from the Roblox Library called Dog Snarl & Bark by LudicrousCunningFox, but lower pitched.
• His hit sound is an audio called Baseball Bat Hit.
