Flare is an ability in Piggy. It is used to blind the Piggy for a few seconds.
Appearance[]
The Icon is a match stick with a little explosion symbol at the end representing that it caught on fire. In the shop, it has the word "Flare" at the top along with the green energy symbol with a six beside it. In the middle is its icon along with its description at the bottom. It will show the buy/equip/equipped or the UI that says how many blueprints you still need.
In game, It is a red cylinder with light red-pink lines at the end, and at the other side is a white light producing a red trail of dust representing that it caught on fire. There is also a yellow bar that depletes occasionally. It also resembles the dynamite. Finally, "FLARE CAUTION: HOT" is written on the side of it.
Effects[]
It will place down a Flare that will blind infected if they get close to it. It also has yellow bar on top of it that shows how long the flare will last before it disappears.
Requirements[]
- Blueprints: 8
- Piggy Tokens: 85
- Energy: 6
Trivia[]
- This is the first ability that places down something, with the second being the Radar.
- If someone else places the Flare down, you will not be able to see the yellow bar above to show the timing left of the Flare.
- Sometimes, the flare will not blind Piggy. Instead, it will just stay there doing nothing.
- The Flare can strangely work on players who are in Ghost Mode.
- If a bot walks through the flare, they will move slowly until they wander away from the flare.
- They will also move faster after leaving the flare.
- If a bot wanders into the flare just before the Flare despawns, the bot will remain stuck at a slower speed.
- If the bot opens a door, captures a player, is shot, or wanders away from another flare, their speed will reset.
- Strangely, secondary bots such as Grandmother in City are not affected by the flare.
