Frostiggy is a limited skin in Piggy, and was added as part of the Winter Holiday Hunt event. They are the main bot and antagonist of Winter Holiday and were added along with Reindessa and the Snowpiggy Trap.
They were first available from December 20th, 2020 to January 28th, 2021. Then, they became obtainable again on December 1st, 2021 and made unobtainable upon the release of Breakout. Their third period of availability started on November 26th, 2022 to January 2023. On December 7th, 2025, MiniToon re-released Frostiggy for their fourth period of availability.
Appearance[]
Frostiggy uses the same model as Piggy but with a light blue glass texture, used for the body. They have blue translucent skin, with two pairs of icicles protruding from their head, one pair between the ears and the other pair below the ears. The top half of their head, except for the left ear, is covered with snow. They have a glowing teal pupil on the right eye and they wield an ice bat with icicles sticking out. They have small blue cheeks that match the color of their nostrils. There are also snowflakes particles falling within them.
They look the same as in base game, but their dress, which is dark blue, is made out of cloth rather than ice, and they no longer have cheeks.
There are also two alternate skins for Frostiggy, that being the Translucent White and Blue skins.Obtainability[]
To obtain the skin, you have to beat Winter Holiday as a player. To know that you've earned it, you will hear a "cha-ching" sound effect during the end cutscene once you've placed all the presents under the tree. It is currently obtainable.
Animations[]
Idle[]
Stands upright with it's head tilted to the right while holding the ice bat in one hand. Emits ice particles. Head also twitches every 3 seconds.
Walking[]
Walks while moving their head down and swaying their arms back and forth. If stopped suddenly, they will slide.
Jumpscare[]
Brings ice bat upwards and pauses for a moment before swinging its ice bat at the player.
Stunned[]
Looks down and puts arms down, with occasional head twitching (overlays the current animation).
Trivia[]
- As said in a tweet, MiniToon wants Frostiggy's returning obtainability to become a yearly tradition in Piggy.[1]
- However, MiniToon didn't re-add Winter Holiday in 2023 and 2024, therefore making Frostiggy unobtainable. Although in 2024's case, this could be because of the Paranormal Pigmas event, where it was replaced by Distorted Holiday. They returned in December 7th, 2025 as part of The Silver Winter event.
- During Winter Holiday's ending cutscene, the Player mentions Frostiggy to their friends, referring to them as "some weird creature" that was chasing them. Pony says that none of them saw anything unusual. This implies that Frostiggy might be a hallucination.
- However, it is unknown why they can kill you, although this is likely for gameplay reasons.
- This is the first of several skins to have a particle effect that isn't part of their jumpscare.
- This is the second skin to not be seen through reflective materials like glass, with the first one being Ghosty.
- This is the first long dress skin to use bot animations instead of the regular infected player animations and vice versa.
- Frostiggy is the third skin to have a different walking sound than all the other skins. The others are Mousy, Billy's remodel, all Book 2 Skins after Book 2 Chapter 4 aside from Alfis (Skin) and Katie, and all Extras skins aside from Poley, Reindessa, Gold Piggy, Sam, Rachna and Krampiggy.
- Frostiggy's slide effect from suddenly stopping is caused by their Humanoid Root Parts having a scale of 0.5, 2.5, 1 instead of the standard 2, 2, 1 that most skins have.
- This quirk also occurs with Sheepy, Pandy, Kitty, PIGGY.EXE, and Pickle Rick.
- This might have been somewhat intentional, and fits the skin, as Frostiggy is a living ice sculpture. However unfortunately, Frostiggy (Ice Queen) does not have this gimmick.
- Frostiggy is one of the quest skins you can obtain for escaping a map, the others being Duocara, Eelektra, Blatt, Ombra, Mr. P, ???, Sam, Decaying Infected, Centrell and The Chained.
- This is the first extra skin to have a long dress, the second being Gold Piggy and the third being Sentinel.
- MiniToon has mentioned that he probably likes Frostiggy's name the least out of all the characters he has named.[2]
- Frostiggy appears in the Build Mode icon for Swarm mode, despite them not being a bot that can naturally spawn from the gamemode.
- Frostiggy has unique footstep sounds, similar to that of ice clinking.
- There is currently a bug where if you search 'Frost' in the Extra skins tab, Frostiggy will show up even if you do not own them. They're also shown to cost 0 Piggy tokens, with no buy or equip icons.
- The bot version of Frostiggy received several changes when Winter Holiday was rereleased in The Silver Winter update. These changes were originally supposed to be added in 2024, but were scrapped in favor of Distorted Holiday.
- Unique spawn message saying "Piggy has defrosted!" in a white to blue gradient, paired with an ice sound effect (this spawn message is actually tied to the map itself, as it appears when player infected spawn aswell).
- Frostiggy is now a patrol bot and places Slow Storm Traps.
- When looking at Frostiggy while they're chasing you, they become highlighted, while your screen gets slightly darker and a sped up version of Twisted Twins by BSlick plays. This also makes all the friendly NPCs on the map disappear and mutes the radios that play music.
- The bot's animations were changed to match the skin counterpart. Previously, the bot version used the default skin animations seen on long dress skins like Piggy and Mother, while the skin version uses their bot animations.
- The Frostiggy bot in Build Mode still uses the previous animations.
