Gurty was a joke skin in Piggy added as a part of the April Fools 2021 update, replacing the default Piggy skin. He was a temporary bot for House - Chapter 1, which was renamed Gurt’s House, He was added back during the April Fools 2022 event, also replacing the main Piggy skin, except this time it was a 2D decal of Gurty. In 2023, Gurty only replaced the Piggy skin during actual gameplay, not the bots or in UIs.
Appearance
Gurty appears in the basement of the house. He looks similar to Piggy.EXE, but the Piggy Head on the face is replaced with 2D Gurty.
Gurty's current model features a 2-dimensional, cropped out model of Gurty from last year's thumbnail.
In 2021, Gurty had the same appearance of the current Piggy, except the head model was replaced with Gurt's head.
Trivia
- During the 2022 April Fools' event, there was a secret message found in the main menu that can only be seen if the camera mode on the settings is set to something other than default. The message says, "Boo! Did I spook you? That's unfortunate. Anyway, Gurty is now in the game. There are five relics scattered which are requires to summon him. But whatever you do, don't do it. Trust me, don't even try. You're really gonna regret it if you even attempt to."
- Due to the skin, the whole game was renamed to "Gurty", House was renamed to "Gurt's House" and the Book 1 main menu was updated to include Gurty and the new title.
- The Book 2 main menu was unaffected.
- The game was renamed to: "A normal pig-e game" for April Fools 2022.
- It was changed the next day back to: "Piggy"
- The Piggy bot from Build Mode oddly did not change its appearance to Gurty.
- Oddly enough, the shop still said "Piggy" and showed Piggy's image, despite the skin being different on that day.
- The same thing happened with Piggy.EXE in 2024.
- Most mentions of Piggy in the Official Piggy Discord Group were changed to Gurty instead, including the server icon, during the entirety of April Fools 2021.
- Gurty was first teased by MiniToon on Twitter.[1]
- In the ending of Gurt's House, it is revealed that Gurty looked like it came from another dimension, as mentioned by the Player.
- The dialogue was later removed and replaced with the normal dialogue as April Fools had passed.
- Gurty's nose and ears are more accurate to real life pigs than Piggy.
- Gurty being 2D recalls one of MiniToon's Fun Piggy Facts, where MiniToon said that Piggy was originally supposed to be a 2D image of Peppa Pig chasing you throughout a house only for him to decide to put an effort and make an actual model of Piggy.

2021
- His soundtrack was the second Piggy soundtrack. It can be listened to here.
- His jumpscare sound was the original jumpscare sound for Granny. It can be listened to here.
- His hit sound was an audio called Baseball Bat Hit.
2022
Like the other skins, Gurty's theme and jumpscare is chosen randomly from a special selection of sounds.
