Home was a chapter created for the joke Piggy: Book 3 April Fools' update and is the 37th chapter overall in Piggy.

Appearance

The chapter is structured like a regular apartment, though messy with boxes still being in the floor. The walls are gray with wooden flooring.

Plot

The Player wakes up from an alarm they have set to 7:00 AM and remembers that they need to pay their taxes, but they've forgotten the password to their computer. They do chores around the house and eventually remember their password. After paying their taxes, the Player starts settling in a deep depression as they look at the picture of all the Safe Place survivors. Posters are shown that the player had to move to keep their job as a police officer. They decide to head out and call Miguel while inside an elevator so he can take the Player back to Evalia. The Player then meets with Miguel, who talks about how it's illegal to go back and that the Player might risk their life. Despite this, the Player insists on going, and they leave in Miguel's boat.

Anonymous User: "If only I could remember my computer password..."

Anonymous User: "Oh, I remember my password now! I'd better log in."

(Anonymous User is seen typing on a keyboard, the camera changes to an investigation board while they are typing. After they pay their taxes, Almost by BSlick begins to play.)

Anonymous User: "Sigh..."

(The scene changes to Anonymous User looking at a photo of The Safe Place group on their desk, with all the members waving minus Zee and Zuzy, who are holding flower pots. Anonymous User knocks the photo off their desk and the scene changes to them in an elevator calling somebody on a phone.)

Anonymous User: "Hey, I need you to take me somewhere."

Anonymous User: "Yes, I know the risks."

Anonymous User: "Just name your price."

(The scene changes to Anonymous User walking up to Miguel on a dock, as Miguel is seen preparing a boat.)

Miguel: "Are you sure about this? You could get in serious trouble if anyone finds out."

Anonymous User: "I'll lose my job too, I know. I'm doing what I need to do."

Miguel: "Well, alright... Are you ready to go?"

Anonymous User: "Yeah, let's do this."

(A sound effect of the boat activating is heard and the boat is seen moving across the sea, with Miguel and Anonymous User on it.)

Miguel: "You're crazy, you know."

Trivia

• When an X (Twitter) user stated it was funny that the Piggy developers really worked hard on a joke chapter (that being Home), Epic_Tank replied with "Who said it's a joke?". This suggests the chapter could possibly have minor storyline implications, even though the chapter itself is a joke.
• For a while after its removal, it was possible to still access the Book 3 sub-place and play the chapter through an old server and teleport commands via the Roblox console/exploits. However, the place was updated to kick you from the game with the messages "You shouldn't be here." and "I don't think so!"
• One of the notes is programmed to show the player's display name. (i.e, if your Display Name was your Fandom username, the note would read "Dear Det. Anonymous User") This makes it the first note to have programming.
  • By default. the note will say "Dear Det. Zizzy".
• This is the only chapter with no enemy or any way to die.
• This chapter holds the record for the shortest timer at 3:20 minutes, or 200 seconds.
  • This is 1/3 of the normal time at 10:00 minutes, or 600 seconds.
• Epic_Tank confirmed that he would be adding the chapter to his version of Piggy but it's 100 Players, making it the only way to play the map after it was removed. However, it is unknown if it will return to the main game.
• Several pieces of evidence suggest that the Player owns this house.
  • The house contains pictures from the Player's Journal, such as from House and Alleys.
  • The Alleys journal entry can be seen hidden.
  • The chapter contains a picture from the credits of Doggy and Poley, in addition to a note from Doggy, both seen in The Safe Place.
  • One of the notes is programmed to show your display name and is a letter for the player.
  • A photo of The Safe Place group is on a desk.
  • Although the chapter isn't canon, the house itself likely is, similar to Time, where what happens isn't canon, but the castle & apartments are.
• The character Miguel originates from the fan-game Piggy: Branched Realities, developed by Wizard Watch Studios.
  • This possibly means the chapter isn't canon as it's connected to the latter with this version of Miguel appearing in said game, though certain details and places could be.
• The sound that both the washing and drying machines make is the soundtrack "Washed Clean In The River" by BSlick in beeps, likely a gag referencing the name of the song.
• In the bathroom, you could find an image of a carpeted toilet picture by angling your camera behind one of the towels. It was also seen in other Piggy joke games, and updates such as a jumpscare in the 2024 April Fools update or as a rare jumpscare from the Bones Trap. This mirrors the Werewolf Sonic picture found in House in a similar location.
• This is the second chapter to not have an opening cutscene of any kind, with the first being Lab.
• This is the third chapter to be themed around a house, with the first being House and the second being the PIGGY: Hunt house.
• The notes in the chapter suggest that during the infection, (some time after Piggy: Book 2) the player was called back into wherever the chapter takes place in.
