Hornz is an extra skin in Piggy. He was released with the AJ Alpaca Plushie Campaign update on May 17th, 2025 and was unlocked on May 18th, 2025. He is a reward for reaching 64,000,000 Piggy Tokens to unlock the crate, and by completing the following quest to obtain him. He is one of the 2 skins that are part of the PIG 64-Shipwrecked 64 Collaboration event, alongside Vulture.
Appearance
Hornz is a top-heavy, hunched over animal with a brown, stone-like texture. His left ear is larger than his right, and he has an antlered frontal skull with gnarled teeth for a mask. Unlike his original counterpart, his proportions were slightly altered, his skull was colored yellowish and his body was colored brown instead of black. He emits black particles off his feet, similar to Vulture.
Obtainability
Note: You can't get the skin because the AJ Alpaca campaign is over.
You needed to unlock 64 events, which can be on any map such as doors, safes, or anything you use an item on.
Animations
Idle
Stands leaning to his left. His fingers move back and forth slightly, and his body subtly twitches.
Walking
Walks, while still bent forward and vibrating.
Jumpscare
Grabs the player's head, then violently twists it to the left.
Stun
Takes recoil from the attack, and clutches his head while crouching.
Trivia
- This skin is based off the character Hornz from Shipwrecked 64, an indie horror game that can be found on Steam as it is part of a collaboration between PIG 64 and the latter.
- It makes it's main appearance in Chief Wulf's Boat Building minigame where it will hunt down the player as they collect the pieces for the boat.
- This skin was leaked one day prior to its unlocking in the game files, resulting in Team i2R having to announce the PIG 64-Shipwrecked 64 collaboration before the crate was unlocked.
- This skin is one of the few skins to have a visual effect in their jumpscare.
- At the time of release, Hornz was the second tallest skin (behind ???), surpassing Shardantus. He also technically holds this title currently if one doesn't count Nor in his exposed form.
- If it was used in Build Mode and it kills someone, that player's camera would be stuck inside the skin until the round ends, then will remain where the skin last was. This has since been fixed.
- Hornz leaves a black, wispy, trail from his legs that pool when he's idly standing, and follows him when he walks. This trail is also present with Vulture.
- This skin is the first skin to give the player's camera a filter during the jumpscare, brightening it and giving it a blue hue.
- This skin is the first skin to be 64-Bit, alongside Vulture.
- It is often believed that Hornz is based off a smiilar creature from Native American mythology, the original character and hence the Piggy skin are confirmed by Squeaks D’Corgeh to have no relation to said creature and any resemblance is coincidence and was only designed to be a shadowy forest monster.[1] Out of respect for its culture of origin, the mythical creature in question will not be named here.
- It and Vulture are technically the most expensive skins in the game since they require the community to gain 64,000,000 to be obtainable, but these tokens aren’t actually spent and are a collective amount from the entire playerbase.
- Epic_Tank said on X that Vulture and Hornz's quests were supposed to be different, but because of a last second change of mind, they are how we know today.[2]
- Hornz actually has two seperate layers to his mask. You can see this when you jump.
- Hornz and Vulture are the joint second skins to have a part of their stun not get replayed, causing the first part to not show in Build Mode when shot by turret. The first being Marley Russell and the joint third skins being both forms of Nor.
