Markus is a skin in Piggy: Book 2. He is also the bot and main antagonist of Docks - Chapter 9 and was added alongside the Crawling Trap when Docks - Chapter 9 was released. He also reappears in Hidden Ending as a minor antagonist.
Appearance[]
Markus is a brown moose with a snout in a slightly lighter shade of brown, hexagonal ears and large moose antlers. His eyes have black sclera, with the left one having black pupil outlined with orange iris which is the same eye as the Insolence, and some portion of the left side of his face is covered in oil. He wears a farmer's hat over his left ear, accompanied by a light brown jacket, tan shirt, green knee-length breeches with dark green socks and black shoes. In addition, he wears a dark brown belt, reddish brown collar around his neck, and he also has what appears to be transparent aura enveloping his left hand and right upper leg. His weapon is a pitchfork, and his right arm is slightly longer.

Idle[]
Stands with his left hand up, holding the pitchfork upside down (with the prongs up).
Walking[]
Limping with his left leg, pitchfork makes a wooden floor sound when he limps.
Jumpscare[]
Throws pitchfork up into the air (His hat bounces up a little as he throws), grabs it, then lifts pitchfork with two hands, then stabs you with the four prongs.
Stunned[]
Looks down and puts arms down, with occasional head twitching (overlays the current animation).
Attacking Pony[]
- Skin: Same as jumpscare.
- Bot: Briefly holds his left hand on his chest, turns to face Pony, pauses for a moment, then slaps Pony away with his left arm.
Trivia[]
- Markus' weapon can be found in the Roblox Catalog.[1]
- As a bot, Markus moves like a normal advanced bot, but he can teleport to other places.
- He is one of the only skins to share a cost with another character in the same shop tab as him; he and Kolie have the exact price in the Book 2 section of the Shop.
- They both also have the same cost as Parasee, costing 425 Piggy Tokens.
- He is the second skin to limp in their walk animation with the first being Soldier.
- He is one of the few skins to have an animated hat, as it bounces up a little during his jumpscare animation.
- When zooming into his hat, he lacks a visible left ear. This was most likely not added as MiniToon doesn't intend for his right ear to clip through his hat.
- He is the first bot to be able to teleport, with the second bot being Piggy (Distorted) and the third bot being Ombra.
- Sometimes when Markus teleports, he can get stuck in the ground and be unable to move.
- He is the third skin to have his leg glitched from rigging, the first being Tigry (Uniform) and the second being Kamosi.
- He is the third character that belongs to Cervidae family, with first being Dessa and second being Reindessa.
- Many people thought that Markus wasn't infected, but this was later confirmed not to be true in the Lab - Chapter 12 ending cutscene when Pony admitted that he was infected in the Savior and Survivor endings.
- Markus has an anatomical error in which his ears are in front of his antlers whereas it should be other way around.
- He is the second skin with an eye of Insolence on their left eye, with the others being Mr. Stitchy, Fergus, Marley Russell and Glenn.
- The Markus bot has a different animation of attacking Pony than his skin counterpart.
- The skin does the regular animation that attacks the player, but the bot swats Pony with his left arm.
- Before Lab came out, Markus' stunned message was "Piggy is gone for 20 seconds". But when Lab came out, it became "Markus will be back in 20 seconds".
- Along with Alfis, Elly, Kolie, Mary, Ben, Eloise, and Porter, he got gunned down by Sgt. Monroe and his soldiers in the Hidden Ending.
- Due to his height he has some trouble getting through some areas.
- Markus is most likely the one who wrote this note in Docks that says: "Dark creatures. Dark creatures... everywhere. Someone get me out of here. I'm just a farmer who wanted an adventure." since he is a farmer.
- He is the first character with a soundtrack by BSlick who doesn't use the entire soundtrack, the second being Kona, the third being Spidella and the fourth being Delta.
- Markus was actually foreshadowed 9 days before Docks' release in this tweet here.[2]

- His soundtrack is a cut version of "Uneasy Urgency", composed by BSlick but timestamped between 0:16 to 0:48. It is uploaded to Roblox as MarkTheme.
- His jumpscare sound is an audio from the Roblox Audio Library uploaded by MiniToon that is a moose sound effect. It can be found here.
- His teleport sound is the same as the teleporter.
- His hit sound is an audio called Hit.
