The Official Piggy Discord is the official Discord server created by MiniToon for Piggy. It is managed and moderated by staff.

Once you join the server, you won't be able to see most of the channels until you verify, but you'll still be able to chat in #general. The server uses Bloxlink, a Discord bot, as a way for users to be verified in the server. Go to the #verify-here channel and click the green button integrated into the bot in order to have access to the rest of the server.

Roles and Levels

There are many different roles that are earned and given out. The role you get once you are verified in the server is called "Piggy Player", a reddish pink role with the Piggy icon. The server also has a levelling system (see Levelling System). There's personal roles you can get (such as pronouns and pings) by opting in roles in #Channels & Roles. There are special roles you can get in different ways, such as featured creator, event winner, artist etc.

The server uses Amaribot, a Discord bot mainly used for levelling up. Users can earn EXP and therefore levels by talking in channels such as #general. Note that not all channels can help you level up, and earning EXP has an 8 second cooldown. Spamming messages in order to level up faster is forbidden. For every 10 levels users earn, they get their own role, reaching up to 100, though it's possible to earn even more levels than that. Reaching certain roles can also give you different permissions, colors, and access to some exclusive channels.

If you happen to be the most active user in a month, you'll be given the "Most Active" role which you can customize its role icon and color to your liking.

Channels

Server Related

• #general is where users can discuss about almost anything. A channel called #active-lounge is accessible only for users who are Level 20+ or are server boosters. There is a similar channel called #exclusive-lounge for retired staff members, contributors, content creators and more exclusive roles.
• #community-creations is a channel for artists to post their artwork, whether or not it's Piggy related.
• #server-suggestions is where users can post suggestions for the server.
• The staff often post questions in #questions-channel that the rest of the server can answer in #answers-channel.
• #bot-cmds is a channel where people can mess with available commands.

Game Related

• Users who need help in Piggy or other games or just want to play with people can post links to their VIP server in #looking-for-game.
• #theories is where users can talk about and share their theories about Piggy.
• #build-mode-suggestions (formerly known as #game-suggestions) is similar to #server-suggestions, but for Build Mode instead.
• Occasionally, Piggy developers post sneak peeks to the Piggy game, mostly Build-Mode updates, in #early-sneak-peeks, though only Level 40+ users and server boosters can have access to the channel. People can discuss about the sneak peeks in #early-leaks-chat. After 24 hours, the sneak peek be talked about freely as well as it being publicly revealed.
• Most game updates are listed in #update-logs.
• Content creators can post their Piggy-related videos in #piggy-content.
• Speedrunners can post their speedruns in #speedruns, which may be reposted by an Speedrun Manager to #wr-speedruns if they break world records.
• You can report exploiters in #report-exploiters (providing a username and video proof is preferred). #other-reports are for other reports, such as bugs and glitches.

Miscellaneous

• The server will sometimes host events where winners can earn different rewards such as Robux, Discord Nitro, and more. #event-announcements is where all of the details are provided. Users can talk about the event in #event-chat which opens when an event is ongoing.
  • The server hosts a weekly event called "Showoff Sunday", where members would show-off their creations (builds, maps, artworks, etc.) in #community-creations. Everyone can participate in the event (except Unverifieds); the channel will be accessible by Piggy Players until the event is over. Placing in the event will grant you a temporary role, and if you happen to win numerous times you'll get an exclusive role.
• The server also sometimes hosts giveaways, where there is a chance one (or more) user(s) can earn prizes.
• There are different roles one can earn, such as:
  • Artist, which can be earned by submitting 3 of your artworks to an Artist Reviewer.
    • Advanced Artist, which can be earned by submitting 8 high-quality artworks to an Artist Reviewer.
  • Speedrunner, which can be earned by sending your speedrun videos to a Speedrun Reviewer.
    • You can get the other speedrunner roles by following its requirements and criteria in #sr-role-criteria
  • Server Booster, which can be earned by boosting the Piggy server with Discord Nitro.
  • Donator, which can be earned by hosting a giveaway.
  • Event Winner, which can be earned by winning server events.
  • And many more, each having their own perks.
• #social-feed (formerly #twitter-feed) is where a feed of MiniToon's posts from both Twitter/X and Youtube are posted.
• You can use over a hundred custom emojis. Animated emojis are for Nitro users only.
• You can see people who boosts the server through the #piggy-boosts channel.

April Fools Changes

2022

The server was renamed to "Pou", along with a bunch of the channels. The server's icon and thumbnail were also changed to a piggified version of Pou, a virtual pet from the mobile game of the same name.

2023

The server was turned into a Nintendo-themed server with some Staff members becoming a Nintendo character for the day.

2024

The server collaborated with Hazem's Server, resulting in both servers switching their icons and staff members pretending to be each other.

Trivia

• Emojis and stickers are a combination of custom art/graphics and random internet memes.
  • Several emojis and stickers are based specifically on cat memes.
• Around October of 2021, the Discord server was unexpectedly attacked by a hacker who somehow hacked into one of the administrator's accounts and caused tons of issues. Fortunately, the server recovered from the attack and is now back to normal.
• A while after the April Fools 2024 had commenced, the original Piggy Player role and some level roles were accidentally deleted during the process of reverting the server. The server was put into lockdown until it was fixed.
