Plot[]

A boy named Ben stands in front of a house, the house belonging to his friend, Ollie, who has gone missing. Ben worries for his safety, as Lucella has been overrun by the Infected.

Ben walks up to the front door of Ollie’s and knocks. He calls out his name, but no one responds. Ben thinks of a way to break into the house when he notices an Infected watching him. The Infected hits Ben on the head with a wrench and he falls to the ground, later waking up inside of Ollie’s house, the Infected inside with him. He quietly sneaks up to Ollie’s room and finds a walkie-talkie. He attempts to use it, but no one responds. He tries to leave, but is chased by the Infected stuck inside with him. He manages to escape through the kitchen door and locks the Infected inside.

Ben tries to use the walkie-talkie once again and fails. He thinks of Ollie and decides he should check the Lucella Police Department. He makes his way over to the station.

Ben arrives at the station. He finds a note from T.S.P. which reads “To those looking for safety this is the worst place to look.” An announcement plays in the station, alerting anyone inside to go to the garage.

Ben encounters another infected, this time an officer at the station. The officer corners Ben when Officer Doggy arrives to save him. The two make their way to the garage, where Doggy asks Ben to get fuel for the car. While doing this, Ben notices a hooded figure watching him, though they run away when Ben gets close. Eventually, the two escape the station from Doggy’s car.

The two drive until the car runs out of gas. Multiple infected surround the car, and they make a run for the gallery. Doggy mentions a campsite nearby. While inside the gallery, Doggy is attacked. Ben shows concern, but Doggy brushes it off, saying he’s fine. The two exit the gallery and make their way to the campsite Doggy had mentioned.

At the forest campsite, Ben asks Doggy again if he’s alright after being attacked. Doggy snaps at him, saying he’s fine, and tells Ben to go to sleep.

Ben wakes up to find that Doggy is gone. He comes to the conclusion that Doggy left to spare him from also becoming infected.

After some time, a voice calls out on the walkie-talkie Ben took from Ollie’s house. Ben hoped the voice on the other end was Ollie, but it turned out to be someone else. The voice on the other side says they are also looking for someone, and asks Ben to find them when he tries to end the conversation. The voice tells him the friend was trapped in the school.

Ben arrives at the school, finding another note from T.S.P. there. Eventually, Ben finds the friend of the stranger on the walkie-talkie, a squirrel named Sally. The two attempt to make it out of the school and eventually do, but not before Sally is attacked by one of the infected inside. Once the two make it out, they contact the voice on the walkie-talkie. They are glad to hear that Sally is safe. They tell the two to go to the metro and make their way to the carnival from there.

Ben and Sally arrive at the metro, and it isn’t long before another swarm of infected makes their way to the two. Ben works on repairing the train at the metro as Sally fights the infected.

When Ben finishes the train, he tells Sally to get on. She refuses, saying she’s staying back to fight the swarm, mentioning that she had been attacked at the school. Sally tries to tell Ben something about the voice on the walkie-talkie, but he interrupts her, causing Sally to once again try and get Ben to leave. Ben eventually gives up, leaving without Sally. She wishes Ben good luck before he uses the train to get to the carnival.

Once he arrives, Ben swears he’ll find the voice on the walkie-talkie. When inside, he notices a pair of eyes watching him. Ben calls out to the shadows, and out steps a figure, which turns out to be Badgy. Behind him, another voice calls out, this one belonging to Badgy’s friend Billy. The two take Ben with them through the carnival, saying they have a survivor group that Ben could join.

The group stumbles across the hooded figure again, and follow them to the mall. They search for the figure, eventually trapping them in the mall. The hooded figure reveals themselves, turning out to be Ollie. Ben is overjoyed that his friend is safe. After the both reunite Ollie explains the reason he ran. Once the squad goes down the escalator a bunch of infected are waiting. Ben grabbed a crowbar nearby and handed it to Ollie. The squad starts fighting the infected. Billy bashes the infected with his barbell. They eventually reach the back entrance which is barricaded.

Billy helps to remove the wooden planks with Ollie. When they escaped, they reached The Safe Place. Billy types the code "0000" to open the gate. Two badgers jumped on Badgy, who are Badgy's siblings. Willow commands the two children to stop. Badgy introduces Willow to Ben and Ollie. When Willow says "TSP--dismissed!" Ben thinks of the notes he has found that were written by TSP. Ben says that TSP stands for The Safe Place. Willow corrects Ben that TSP actually stands for The Silver Paw.

Willow tells Badgy that she has new information. But she doesn't think Ollie and Ben are trust worthy enough that she can say it out loud. But Badgy tells Willow that Ben and Ollie have proven themselves. Willow explains that they've tracked a helicopter signal nearby. Ben instantly remembers that it's the stranger from the walkie-talkie. Badgy decides that Ben should go with him and Billy, while Ollie stays at The Safe Place. Ollie and Badgy's siblings are disappointed by the news. The Safe Place let the trio use a truck they had.

Badgy, Ben and Billy spent the drive talking. They finally reached the place where the signal came from. A laboratory in the side of the island. Suddenly they hear a "oof" noise. It turns out Ollie followed them here. Suddenly a swarm of infected were walking towards the squad. Badgy tells Ben to take Ollie with him at the laboratory. When they reached the lab Ben knocked on the door. Then he did it again but it opened before he had the chance to. Ben and Ollie looked at each other, ready to face whatever is in there.

    • There is an infected officer in the station instead of Mother.
    • Doggy comes to help, instead of Ben coming to him with a gas can.
    • Ben escapes through the kitchen window, instead of the front door.
    • Badgy and Billy stand in for Zizzy and Pony.
    • Badgy's siblings stand in for Zee and Zuzy.
    • Willow is a part of the group that tracks the helicopter signal.
    • The Safe Place group is replaced by The Silver Paw.
  • The Piggy novel series is considered non-canonical to the games main storyline and should not be used for creating theories and/or solving lore.
