The Piggy: Book 2 Official Trailer is the second teaser trailer for Piggy: Book 2, with the first one being The Journey Continues. This trailer was premiered on August 22nd, 2020 on MiniToon's YouTube Channel. The trailer on YouTube can be found here.
Summary[]
- The full trailer sequence takes place on the side of a hallway in a lab, with the perspective of the sequence always facing a row of doors. As the trailer progresses, the perspective slides past these doors slowly.
- The first door showcases a flashback with Doggy in his police uniform outside an alleyway.
- The second door showcases a sequence with Zizzy, locked up in a room. As she looks around, she raises her fists.
- The third door, which has a cracked window, showcases a brief segment with Willow firing her revolver.
- The fourth door showcases a sequence with Georgie, who is looking out towards the sea on a ship.
- The fifth door, which has some glasses near it, showcases a sequence with Pony, who comes across a military camp in the middle of a blizzard. A shining beacon can be seen on top of one of the buildings.
- Right between the fifth and the sixth door, a silhouette of Bunny could be seen for a split second.
- The sixth and final door does not showcase a sequence, as the door is wide open. Inside, a glass beaker containing the cure can be seen. Right after, a shadow silhouette appears and laughs, right before cutting to the title "PIGGY BOOK 2".
Trivia[]
- This trailer showcased the first instance of Willow. Her revolver is different from the one she uses in-game.
- It is a common misconception that Willow did not have her purple shirt in the trailer. She did have her purple shirt, but the lighting makes it appear otherwise.
- Bunny's appearance very likely references her brief cameo as a hallucination in Temple - Chapter 10.
- The video managed to earn third place in trending in YouTube for Gaming.
- The ship shown in this video is actually a scrapped model of The Medora, the location of Ship - Chapter 8.
- Additionally, the in-game Ship takes place during the night, while in this trailer it takes place during the day.
