暴走小猪 (pinyin: bào zǒu xiǎo zhū, or "Runaway Piggy") is a test game for regional changes that is oriented towards the Chinese audience. Because of the strict game policies in China, the game has gone through multiple waves of adjustments, from removing textures to renaming characters.

Adjustments

First Wave (March 15th, 2021)

• Piggy's dress lacks its texture (Possibly due to the dirt on it looking like blood).
• The Skelly prop in School is removed (Skeletons are not allowed to be shown in Chinese games).
• Several skins were removed. The following is a list of characters and why they were most likely removed.
  • Skelly (skeletons aren't allowed in Chinese games).
  • Budgey (her hat has a skeleton on it).
  • Ghosty (supernatural entities aren't allowed).
  • All skins after Sewers (weren't added yet in development).
• The game's logo lacks the blood splatter (blood and gore is not allowed in China).
• The Factory chapter is removed (as the game was a testing place, this may have been a version of the game where Factory wasn't added yet).
• The Infection gamemode is renamed to "Turn" (zombies or anything resembling them aren't allowed, and that's basically what this gamemode is).
• The Skip Timer command is missing from the Private Servers panel (again, as it was a testing place, it may not have been added yet).
• The Piggy Build Mode place is called "Piggy: Build Mode". In regular Piggy, it's just called "Piggy Build Mode" (this was most likely an oversight).
• Custom R15 animations are supported (MiniToon may have forgotten to change some settings).

Second Wave (March 20-30, 2021)

• Zompiggy is renamed to "Risen Piggy". (Zombies aren't allowed in China)

Third Wave (April 16th, 2021)

• Piggy: Book 2 cannot be selected from the Main Menu. (The existence of TIO and The Insolence qualify as supernatural and therefore are unfit to meet China's standards).

Adjustments in Uncertain Waves

• Piggy replaces Zompiggy in Metro. (Possibly in the second wave with the other Zompiggy change)
• The characters properly use their redesigned appearances. (Possibly in the third wave)

Trivia

• This game was first discovered by Piggy News on Twitter, on March 15th, 2021.
• According to MiniToon, this game was just made to test regional changes to see how to make them work.
• At one point in time, if you tried to join the game, you would be kicked immediately. A special pop-up message would also appear saying, "Wait, how'd you get here? I am impressed by your detective skills, but please don't come back. Have a lovely day, Anonymous User! You're incredible."
• Since this game does support R15 avatar customization, depending on your body type, you may not fit in some vents, which risks being exposed to Piggy and dying.
• The game currently has a strange bug where your screen will go black and will remain black until you die and get sent to the Main Menu.
• It is implied before the game was turned into a Chinese Variant, it used to be a test game by MiniToon.
• Even though the main Piggy game has been updated to use new sounds, this game and Piggy but it's 100 Players never were and thus still use the older ones.
• As it has not been updated for a while, game features such as Seasons, Abilities, new Build Mode features, and Mods do not exist in the game. Additionally, bugs like the falling Mr. P glitch are still in the game.
• Before Book 2 was removed, you could actually get the Primrose skin. You can no longer get it as Book 2 has been removed.
• The True Ending of Plant and Mr. P are obtainable in this game but require the map completion badges from the main game and don’t require any completed maps on this game.
• The browser link calls this game "unnamed" when loaded in English.
  • Normally, special symbols such as parenthesis and symbols are replaced with an encoded string in links (For example, the closing parenthesis ")" is replaced with "%29"). It is possible that when Roblox generated the link, it did not know how to replace the symbols in the link. This may have caused "unnamed" to appear in place of the actual name.
