"We need to work together to help each other out, or else we'll just end up hurting ourselves and each other even more."
― Anonymous User, Ship - Chapter 8
The Player (Anonymous User) is the main protagonist of Piggy. They were a police officer (and former detective) of the Lucella Police Department. It is revealed that they are immune to Substance - 128 for unknown reasons and can't get infected.
History
Working with the Police Force
At some point, the Player joined the Lucella Police Department as an officer and detective. Their comrades, Doggy and Poley were also enrolled and accepted into the police force at some point, and they helped them with some duties. The Player then proved their efficiency at their job by solving nearly every case they worked on, even prompting Doggy to write a note to the chief asking for them to get promoted.
Hunt for Willow
Alleys - Chapter 1
Doggy and the Player have been searching and researching on Willow's last location to find out where she is and arrest her for robbing supplies (namely, a pie, as confirmed in the heist). The Player comes to the hypothesis that she's at the alleys, the location of where her parents were arrested. Rash, Willow's partner in crime, started to defend their hideout, confirming the Player's theory. After the Player and Doggy reach Willow's hideout, Doggy started to confront Willow who justified herself by saying that she was only stealing to feed her family. Doggy understands her situation, but arrests her regardless. Unbeknownst to the duo, Rash was approaching them from behind, ready to attack them, but Willow stops him by saying it's not worth it. Doggy and the Player take them away. The Player, reluctant and regretful at their decision, asks if there wasn't anything they could do about it, to which Doggy reminded the Player that "they do things because they have to, not because they want to."
Gallery Robbery
At some point before the events of Book 1, there was a reported robbery at the gallery that the Player and Doggy investigated. Not much is known about this but after the robbery, the gallery closed for some time.

After the Player wakes up, they find themselves in the siblings' bedroom and tried to escape, but their path was obstructed by the intervention of a crazed pig. Once the Player did escape, they decided to go back to the police station to get backup.
Going with Doggy
Station - Chapter 2
After escaping the Piggy Household, the Player returns to the Station to look for help. However, upon reaching the Station, they notice that it's abandoned, save for a voice coming from the speaker advising them to go into the garage and warning them about a "monster". the Player attempts to escape while being chased by Mother. Once the Player gets into the Garage, it is revealed that the person using the speaker was their partner, Doggy, who tells them to look for gasoline to fill the car with. After they filled the car, Doggy and the Player were planning to go outside of the City to stay safe.
Gallery - Chapter 3
The car soon runs out of gas and Player and Doggy get surrounded by Mother, Father, and Sheepy, who blocked their way. Player and Doggy decided to hide into the Gallery and seal themselves in, however Father came in without them noticing and began to pursue them. Once they opened the door, they ran towards a forest and decided to set up a camp there for the time being.
Forest - Chapter 4
Four weeks later, the Player and Doggy talk about the monsters, who the Player laments might've been their friends. Doggy tells them that it's getting late and they should sleep and they do so. Soon after, however, the Player hears a bark, a drinking noise, and a potion shattering, causing them to wake up. The first thing they noticed was that Doggy was missing and discovers an empty bottle. The Player went to look for him, but only to find out that Sheepy followed the two into the forest and Doggy was now a "monster". This prompted them to escape the Forest with a heavy heart. After they escape the Forest, they find a radio on the floor and an unknown man started to ask for their help, saying that they needed to go to a School to save a friend of his and that he would meet the Player there. They decided to do the right thing and went to the school.
Saving Bunny
School - Chapter 5
The Player heads inside the School where they receive a message from the walkie-talkie, where he reveals his name, Mr. P, a renowned billionaire. He says that they'll need to go to the school's sewer system after they find his friend. After dodging a teacher, who became a "monster", the Player opens the door to get to Mr. P's friend, Bunny. After they rescued her, they take her to the sewers, where Bunny met up with Mr. P. Unfortunately, due to exhaustion or something else, the Player passes out. They get taken to the hospital in a stretcher, where they hallucinate their fallen comrade.
Hospital - Chapter 6
The Player woke up inside the hospital after passing out in the school, while the hospital was being attacked by a monstrous doctor named Beary. Bunny tells them that Mr. P is waiting for them on the roof. After reaching the roof, however, they find that Mr. P has abandoned them. They decide to go down a Metro to find a way to escape.
Hunt For Mr. P
Metro - Chapter 7
After reaching the Metro in order to find Mr. P's whereabouts, Bunny says that she's been feeling sick and decides to rest, giving the Player her crossbow to fend for themselves. After dodging a zombified pig and powering the train, Bunny reveals that she can't accompany The Player any further, as Player now learns that the monsters are actually infected. They know discover she's becoming fully infected after drinking a potion that Mr. P gave to her while they were unconscious. The Player reluctantly leaves Bunny behind, vowing to find Mr. P.
Carnival - Chapter 8
After reaching Mr. P's Carnival via the metro, the Player finds it completely abandoned, save for an infected clown and a jailed fox. They dodge them both and reaches Mr. P's office to confront him, where they are instead greeted with two survivors, a zebra and a pony. The Pony, disguising his confusion with naivety, asks his partner if the Player was infected, to which she answers that the infected can't speak. After a small chat and Pony saving the Player from the escaped fox, they offer the Player to join them back to their shelter, to which they agree.
City - Chapter 9
Once Pony, Zizzy and the Player made it to the City, they have to unlock the gate that protects the Safe Place from the infected. After managing to open the gate and dodging an infected elephant and elderly pig, they head inside. They start talking about their past before the infection, where Pony reveals that he wanted to become an optometrist, like his father, and Zizzy reveals that she was a fencing coach and that she was teaching her sisters. The Player tells them about their past in the police force, how they were looking for Georgie, and that Mr. P has been spreading the infection by giving people potions that turn them into infected. Afterwards, an unknown person creates a loud bang before running away. The Player and Zizzy decide to go after them.
Mall - Chapter 10
While the Player and Zizzy search for the shadow, they find out that it went to the mall. Once they searched all over the mall, dodging a defective robot and an amputated mouse, they finally broke into its hideout. They find out that the shadow was Georgie, the person that the Player was looking for, who sought refuge in the mall after encountering his infected family. Zizzy, Georgie and Player go back to the Safe Place where the Player finally meets more survivors, them being Zee, Zuzy, Mimi, and Giraffy. Once Georgie, Zizzy and Player get back to the Safe Place, Pony notifies them about a helicopter signal at the Outpost.
Outpost - Chapter 11
When the Player, Zizzy, and Pony arrived at the Outpost, they manage to get past the infected military staff, while prying open the entrance to the power plant. Just as the trio are about to go in, Georgie appears. He reveals that he escaped by distracting the twins and followed the three all the way to the outpost to confront Mr. P. Unfortunately, he attracted a large crowd of infected soldiers, to which Zizzy and Pony stay outside to fend them off while Georgie and the Player go inside the plant. Georgie and the Player later find Mr. P, who is now a cyborg. Player tells him that they have come to stop his evil plans, but Mr. P replies that the Player and Georgie aren't real, thinking his mind is playing tricks on him. The Player is confused about his statement, but then Mr. P says that they are dead and tells them to leave him alone. He then runs away, so the Player and Georgie chase after him.
Final Confrontation with Mr. P
Plant - Chapter 12
The Player and Georgie chase after Mr. P, who stops running abruptly. He says that he only wanted to be left alone, but that the memories still haunt him. He then tells the Player that they are just as stubborn as him when he tried to save his wife, but that now, he will stop them like he should have stopped himself. He then cocks his gun. Player tries to find a way to get Mr. P to snap out of it and avoids a infected badger.
After experiencing multiple hallucinations from the forest, school, metro and carnival and their fallen allies, Doggy and Bunny, Player finally finds a picture of Mrs. P. They manage to make Mr. P snap out by giving him the photo as Player's hallucinations fade away. Mr. P laments on how everything is his fault. He reveals that he left them in the hospital after he thought that they were infected, and how the researchers that left with him modified his body. Georgie attempts to hurt Mr. P as revenge for what he did to Georgie's family, but the Player stops him, telling him that hurting him wouldn't make him any better, turning him into what he hates the most about Mr. P.
Just as the duo are about to leave, the Player walks up to Mr. P, demanding that he tells them what really happened. Mr. P is reluctant at first, but soon shares his story. His wife, Mrs. P, contracted a deadly illness, so Mr. P put all his time and resources into developing a cure. The doctors warned that the cure was unstable, but Mr. P wanted volunteers immediately. The Piggy family, save for Georgie, volunteered and took the cure. The initial results were positive, so Mr. P immediately gave the cure to Mrs. P. Soon, however, he heard news that the Piggy family became hostile, but he thought nothing of it until Mrs. P became hostile as well. He didn't have the heart to stop her from escaping, so he let her go. While he continued making cures, he encountered the Player, who was soon found to have signs of the infection within them but miraculously survived. The hospital was then raided and Bunny was attacked, so Mr. P gave her one of his botched cures. He soon realized what he had done, so he left the the Player and Bunny in the hospital for dead.
After the Player takes in the story, they thank Mr. P and leave the plant. They meet Zizzy and Pony, who managed to defeat the hordes of infected soldiers, and the Player declares that they stopped Mr. P and that he's no longer a threat. Zizzy congratulates them, but Pony wonders what they're going to do next. Georgie suggests looking for a cure. The four then go back to the Safe Place.
Living in The Safe Place
The Player has since settled in with the other Safe Place members. Everyone is on good terms with each other and they have helped each other to survive and live together. Also, they wrote their journal about their experience in the beginning of the infection and the confrontation with Mr. P.
Piggy: Book 2
Contacting Other Survivors
Store - Chapter 2
One day, Zizzy, Pony, and Player head to the Store to find some Batteries for a radio. Once back, they repair the radio and succeed in having contact with an unknown group requesting to trade with them. After some discussion, Pony, Zizzy and Player go out to meet with the group. They follow the group's instructions to meet them at the Old Oak, but soon it turns out to be a group called The Silver Paw. The Silver Paw's leader, Willow, confronts Player and Pony, ridiculing them, then takes Zizzy with them for "questioning". Player and Pony follow them to rescue Zizzy.
Refinery - Chapter 3
Player and Pony follow The Silver Paw to an oil refinery, avoiding a relentless Tiger and the many guards around the place. They find Zizzy trapped in a room and free her, noticing she was fighting an infected. As they were about to leave, however, Zizzy notices that she's been scratched, and Pony and Player are forced to leave without her. Player and Pony come back to the Safe Place empty handed and without Zizzy, with Giraffy, Mimi, Georgie and the twins looking at them in silence.
The Silver Paw and The Safe Place
The Safe Place - Chapter 4
Some time after, the group wakes up to an explosion outside. Georgie urges Player to get up, and Player has to free Pony, Mimi and Giraffy while evading an infected rat. They attempt to find the twins to no avail, and Pony suspects that they escaped through a vent in their bedroom. After rescuing everyone and escaping the Safe Place, they find themselves face to face with The Silver Paw (minus Tigry), who followed Player and Pony back after they failed to rescue Zizzy. After some back and forth, The Silver Paw lock up the Safe Place in a makeshift cell in a factory.
Sewers - Chapter 5
After the group spent a whole day in the cell, Zee and Zuzy suddenly appear out of a manhole in the cell, asking for help to get the cell door open. Player volunteers to go alone so that the guards don't get suspicious and because it was too dangerous for everyone to go down the sewers. They pry open another manhole outside the cell while avoiding an infected alligator. Zuzy states that she and Zee need to go back to The Safe Place to get some stuff, and Player thanks them, going back to the surface and opening the cell door to free the others. As they walk away, Tigry notices them, but stops himself from throwing his daggers at them. Willow appears behind them, deciding to deal with them herself. She shoots at Pony, but Giraffy jumps in front of him, saving his life. Player tells them to leave, resolving to confront Willow themselves. Pony joins them, and Willow agrees with settling it once and for all.
Factory Battle
Factory - Chapter 6
While most of the group takes Giraffy to safety, Pony and Player stay behind to fight against Willow. Player tries to find wooden swords for Pony to use as weapons while avoiding Kolie. Player has the option to save some trapped T.S.P members, which determines the ending. If no T.S.P. members are saved, Player is shot and killed by Willow and Player dies, though this ending is non-canon. If some are saved, then Player remains alive. Willow attempts to shoot Player but then feels sorry for her actions upon seeing Zee and Zuzy. She offers to assist the group in curing Zizzy by moving up north, revealing that the military have moved to make a cure. They accept her offer, and leave with her.
Hunt for the Cure
Going to Doveport
Port - Chapter 7
After the events of Factory, Player along with the Safe Place and Willow go to a port, only to realize Willow's boat was stolen by Tigry. Mimi then looks up at the lighthouse and wonders if they can get it working again. Player checks it out, and after escaping Dakoda and fixing the lighthouse, a ship called the Medora is lured to the light. The group hops aboard the ship. There, they meet a pirate captain named Budgey who mentions her infected crew during her introduction. Willow then requests Budgey to take the group across the North Sea, but the ship doesn't have enough fuel to do that as Budgey sealed the lower parts of her ship where the fuel is located, so Player and Willow volunteer to go find the fuel.
Ship - Chapter 8
Budgey unseals the ship for Player and Willow to fetch the fuel in the cargo bay. Player tries to get the fuel by outsmarting Archie and three other crewmates going after them as they get to the bottom of the ship, with Willow occasionally helping. Once Player unlocks the metal crate to the fuel, they and Willow go inside. Unfortunately, one of the crewmates appears behind them and the door shuts on them. Willow tries to open it, but it doesn't budge. Player concludes that they may be stuck in the crate for a while, so they should get to know each other. Willow denies the offer, and Player can tell that Willow is still angry at them. Player tells Willow that they were doing their job all those years ago when arresting her. The two get into an argument, but Pony, Georgie, Zee, Zuzy, and Mimi find them and open the crate. Mimi says that the infected were nowhere to be seen, and the group brings the fuel to Budgey, where they use the fuel to dock at Doveport.
Docks - Chapter 9
The Safe Place, all but Giraffy, and Willow enter the docks of Doveport, and Budgey wishes them good luck on their journey. The group then realizes Tigry had made it before them. Pony goes with Player to escape the Docks. After they both leave, unscathed, Player meets Tigry once again, and they have a talk. Tigry says that Player should ditch Willow, but Player doesn't accept his offer. Tigry then walks off, saying that his offer still stands. Pony arrives and after a talk with Player, they get the others to the surface. As they walk to the surface, Player encounters a robot pig who jumps in front of them. They think that the robot pig was the one who attacked back at the mall. Kona notices the group and offers them shelter in his laboratory, away from the surrounding explosions.
Kona reunites with Mimi after not seeing each other in years. Kona introduces himself as the inventor of the Mall Security Protocol Droid, the one without a chainsaw, that is. The one that they're with is named Robby and is Kona's personal assistant. Kona reveals that he's been studying the infected, fascinated by them, and also reveals that the military moved everyone further north as a bunch of infected appeared, so they bombed the place in retaliation. He thinks the infected became smarter and that the military is working on a cure. Though Kona won't join the group in going further north, he lets them use the exit downstairs in his lab and offers Robby to keep them safe. He also tells Mimi to take a portable radio so that he can call them in case of any news, and Player sets to go downstairs to open the exit.
Temple - Chapter 10
After meeting with Kona, Player and Robby head under Kona's base to clear the path for the rest of the group to leave safely. Upon entering, the two meet an infected spider who chases them around. Player successfully opens the exit, and everyone goes outside.
Meeting TIO
After escaping, Player suddenly says that they "feel off", and they are sent into a strange, dark dimension. They fearfully look around until they see Bunny. They deny that she's real, while Doggy and Zizzy appear behind them. They demand the hallucinations to get out of their head, so they disappear, but a large figure emerges out of thin air and asks them if the Player is sure that they are tired of the tricks.
Player asks who they are, but the man dodges the question, asking the Player if they remember being at the School and the Plant. The Player then questions the man if that was him making all the hallucinations, and he confirms it. He tells Player that he's been fascinated by them and that he's been watching them. After calling them unique, Player retorts, saying that the man should see himself and that Player is just an ordinary person in this messed up world. The man disagrees with the Player, stating that they have a gift, telling the Player that they can't get infected. He comes to the conclusion that Player can do extraordinary things, and he asks Player to join him. Player strongly declines the offer, saying that they will never fall for any more tricks that the man has, and he becomes agitated with Player. He states that they're stubborn at first, then when they have no one left, they come right back to him. He warns Player to stay out of his business, and that they'll regret the path they're following.
Player, now furious with the man, shouts to leave them alone, and they try to punch him, but the hallucination ends, leading Player to almost punch Pony. Willow make fun of Player for the "act", but Pony asks them if they've seen the man. Player asks who he is, but Pony has no answer to the question. He tells Player that he met him when he was working with T.S.P., and Willow tells Pony to tell the Player what he did. Pony argues with Willow, saying now is not the time, and Mimi breaks the argument.
She says that they've come so far now, and they can't be breaking up. Robby tries to take the children back with him to Kona for their safety, but Georgie doesn't want to go, saying that he's been in dangerous situations before and that his family would've wanted him to stay and find the cure. The twins also agree, saying that they've got a big sister to save. Mimi hesitates on bringing them along, but the group tells her that it'll be okay. Suddenly from the radio, Kona can be heard telling the group that the Outpost ahead has been acting really strange and that they have to be careful.
Camp - Chapter 11
The group heads into the Camp, and Player, Pony, and Willow all fend off the infected soldiers and figure out a way to get the camp's elevator unlocked. Once they get the elevator opened, Pony takes Player aside, while the others wait for them.
Player asks Pony what he wanted to talk about, and Pony reveals that he was the one who infected Doggy back in the Forest. Player is taken aback, and Pony says that he had no other choice, and Willow made him do it. He said he wasn't proud of it, but Player lashes out at Pony, telling him that they trusted him. Pony tries to apologize, but Player wants to know if he'll just do it again. Georgie then goes up to Player, giving them the advice that they themself told Georgie back at the Plant, and Player calms down. Player tells Pony that they can't forgive him, but they can stay friends, and Pony thanks Player profusely.
Player then sees Willow looking at something, sadly and Player asks her what it is. Willow, then quickly looks away, saying that it is nothing. Finally, the group enters the elevator, and down into the lab. Pony decides that they should split up, and Mimi agrees, taking the kids down one path. Pony goes by himself down a different path, and Player and Willow find Tigry about to set a stick of explosive dynamite down another.
Willow and Tigry later argue about the past, with Tigry explaining all the bad things Willow has done to him, and they later get into a fight. The dynamite Tigry set exploded and pipes fall to the ground, trapping Player and separating them from Willow and Tigry. Behind a door, a shadow silhouette appears, leaving the Player vulnerable.
Lab - Chapter 12
After finally making it to the Lab, it all came down to this. A monstrous version of Penny seems to have appeared. As she chases Player around the map, they power on the reactor and open the room where the cure was sealed.
Player then tells Mimi to work her magic with the radio by asking for help. As they walk to the room, Player sees Willow and Tigry in front of the cure, with Tigry telling Willow to finish him. Player yells at Willow to stop her from hurting Tigry, stating that if she's angry, she should stop directing her anger at others and direct them towards the infected instead. Tigry tells Willow that they're alike, and how she listened to his problems before. He tells her that he wishes they could go back to that time when they were friends. Mimi appears behind Player, saying that there is a helicopter outside.
Final Battle against TIO
Everyone regroups outside, and they see a military aircraft land in front of them. A mole named Monroeappears, alongside a mouse and a bear. Player tells him that they have the cure, and Monroe says that it's a shame that Outpost Echo was the one that was wiped out. Suddenly, the ground starts shaking, and a bunch of orange-eyed infected emerge from the snow. Monroe commands his soldiers to ready their weapons, but then Player, Pony, Georgie, and Zee are taken into their memories.
The man from earlier stands in front of Player, and he tells them that he is disappointed with them. He reveals that he is known as TIO, yet it's not his actual name. TIO tries to convince them that free will is destructive, citing Mr. P's actions. He states that he's only trying to protect them, as everyone will fight over the cure. Player did not take his warning of stopping their journey, retaliating by saying that the cure is hope for the future, to save everyone.
TIO, furious that Player is still opposing them, decides to deal with them himself and transforms into his distorted appearance. Player hears Pony in his memories, and they unlock various puzzles from their previous adventures until reaching a dark maze. Player helps the others defeat their memories, and they realize that if this is all in their head, then they can use the memories to their advantage. Player then comes across hallucinations of Doggy, Bunny, and Zizzy, and once they are given their required weapons, they help Player in taking TIO down.
Defeating TIO
After the memories all take a swing at TIO, he sinks into the ground, yelling at Player and calling them a buffoon. The hallucination ends, and it turns out that Monroe's soldiers have taken out all the infected. Pony and Georgie thank Player for saving them, and Player is simply happy to have helped, stating that no one deserved to go through what they did.
Willow and Tigry have a talk about how she mistreated Tigry, and they are now both on good terms. Tigry gives Willow another chance as he considers her family. They then make the final decision of leaving the group to venture out on their own together. Player and the group say their final goodbyes to Willow and Tigry before leaving with Monroe and heading back to Lucella to pick up Giraffy.
Living at Kona's House and an Unknown Threat
After getting a fully healed Giraffy from T.S.P. and curing Zizzy, the group heads back to Kona's base in Doveport, and they decide to stay there. Months or a few years later, the Safe Place group are on good terms with each other and they have helped each other to survive and live together. One day, Pony is reading the newspaper, and he comments on the overpriced carrots. Zizzy then asks Pony why he can't just make a farm of carrots, and Pony says that the price isn't so bad after all.
Unbeknownst to them, someone is watching the group through a hidden Insolence wall, implying that the Insolence may not be defeated. This also hints of what is yet-to come.
Appearance
Their appearance will depend on the player's current Roblox avatar they have equipped. If you enter the cutscene creator, the player will have pale yellow skin, blue pants, a green sleeveless shirt and the basic smile.
Personality
The Player always wants to solve problems and help other people in need, given that they are a police officer and detective, always doing their job well. Although they were assigned to track down Willow with Doggy, they felt sympathetic after Willow said she was poor and she was doing it for her family. However, Doggy stated that they have to do it because they have to, not because they want to. The Player also is shown to be caring, and was very good about reassuring Georgie that everything would be okay.
Sometimes the Player would lose their cool, and start becoming stressed about certain predicaments. They became stressed when they had to escape out of the gallery with Doggy, and they told him that they don't know how to handle the infected. Player also became frustrated with Pony at the Camp, when he told them that he's the one who infected Doggy. Though they can get annoyed with problems like these, there would always be someone with them to reassure them, like Doggy and Georgie.
The Player developed a deep bond with their friends, and deeply mourned their losses, and though they are quick to move on, they didn't forget about their friends and still miss them, seen by how they hallucinate Doggy, Bunny and Zizzy frequently throughout the story due to TIO. They also kept Doggy's note and a picture of him and Poley in The Safe Place.
Though the Player is independent, when they are isolated from people, they feel weak and vulnerable, mentioning it several times. Player wants to take revenge on their enemies, but refuses to kill or hurt them. They try to save every T.S.P. member even after their harsh treatment at their hands. They are willing to cooperate with even their enemies and setting aside their differences if it means achieving the same goals.
When writing in their journal, the Player uses a brooding tone of voice, and seems to be depressed at the state of the world. They are sad about survivors going against each other, when really they should all work together to get through the infection. The Player is very brave and a compulsive volunteer, going on every dangerous mission for the sake of others. They are especially famed for their quick thinking and dexterity, using this to get through every problem faced by their group.
