Private Server Host Commands are an exclusive game mechanic in Piggy that is only available in private servers. They can only be used by the owner of the server.
Commands[]
Kick[]
Allows the host to kick a selected player from the server.
Note: The host can't kick themselves out of the server.
Set Map[]
Allows the host to choose any map they wish to play based on what book they are currently on. Uniquely, Distorted Memory is server command exclusive and cannot be played otherwise. Chapters only available in private servers like Heist and Distraction can also be selected. Winter Holiday can only be chosen whenever it's currently in the game.
Set Mode[]
Allows the host to set any gamemode they want even if one of them doesn't appear in the mode voting. The modes that can be chosen are Player, Bot, Player + Bot, Infection, Traitor, Swarm and Tag.
Set Piggy[]
Allows the host to select a player from the server to be the piggy.
Skip Timer[]
Allows the host to skip the current timer by setting the time to 0. This can either be used to skip intermission, voting times or the entire round. This can also be used via a chat command ("/skip"), as the host doesn't have access to the commands menu during a round.
Mods[]
Seven additional commands a host can activate in both books during the intermission to add:
- Point Race Mode - Allows points to be collected by players when completing various events and obstacles.
- Force Hard Mode - Automatically activates Hard Mode for all players in the VIP Server.
- 2x Timer Speed - Speeds the timer up by 2 in-game seconds per 1 real life second. This would also mean that the Piggy spawns in 15 seconds faster and that you only have 5 real life minutes to escape the map you are playing on.
- Spider Mayhem - As soon as players spawn in a map, a swarm of Spider Traps will continuously chase players, alerting them.
- Dizzy Camera - The screen will constantly rotate clockwise.
- Inverted Controls - Inverts WASD controls and flips the Mobile joystick.
- Large Traps - Released alongside the Mrs. P skin quest; Enlarges any trap a Piggy places down, whether it be from a Bot or Player.
Trivia[]
- Private server hosts are unable to choose who becomes the Traitor if Traitor mode is selected.
- "Skip Timer" was not added in Piggy with the other options at the same time; it came a little later.
- In the Chinese variant of Piggy, there is no Skip Timer command.
- On June 16th, 2024, the "/skip" command was added in the game for VIP Server hosts to use. Typing it in the chat would end the round, even if the host is in a game.
- Private Server host commands were always lost when going from Book 2 to Book 1 due to it putting players in the incorrect server without commands or the option to play Time.
- If 2x Timer speed is enabled and the mode is swarm, the swarm bots will spawn with the sped up timer.
- The mods were originally only in Book 1, they were added to Book 2 later.
- Time doesn't have mods.
- Build Mode only has the force hard mode mod, not the others.
- The Set Piggy command only works with player-associated Gamemodes like Player + Bot.
- If the host selects a command, but the game is unable to activate it (Like making someone Piggy when the mode is bot), the game will remember the command and will run it when it is able to run it.
- When the inverted controls modifier was first released, it was not functional due to Epic_Tank accidentally misspelling "invert" as "intert". This was fixed shortly after.
- Inverted controls and dizzy camera also work for ghosts.
