The Purple Key (also known as the Gate Key in Decay) is a progression item in Piggy, Build Mode and Piggy: Hunt.

Usage[]

The Purple Key is used to unlock the purple safe and the purple lock door. In the exclusive RB Battles Event, it could've been partially used on a crack on a wall inside the Store along with the blue and green key to obtain Sabrina’s Sword of Healing. In most cases, including book 1, the purple key is required to unlock the gun.

Trivia[]

Normally, you can find ammo near the purple key, like in the Carnival, or the orange key area in House.
This was the first completely optional key to be in Piggy, not contributing to map completion until Alleys.
It was added onto Build Mode in 6/28/2020.
Up until Mansion, this key and the yellow key were the only keys to not have associated doors in the base game.
- However, both keys have an aforementioned door in Build Mode.
This, the blue, and the green key can be used to open a cracked door at the same time in Store to get the Sabrina’s Sword of Healing during the timespan of the RB Battles Event 2020. The purple key represents Sabrina, the blue key represents Russo, and the green key represents DJ.
- All said keys reappear to represent the hosts in the RB Battles Spaceship map.
This key and the yellow key are the only keys to appear in all key based chapters.
- Winter Holiday and Breakout are the only chapters where none of them are included.
