RB Battles Studio was an extra map made by MiniToon to celebrate the RB Battles Season 2 event. It was removed on April 2nd, 2021. RB Battles Studio was added for the aforementioned event and worked differently from every other chapter. Instead of one main Piggy, there are three. However, it was impossible to die to them as they can only stun you. The goal of the map isn't specifically to escape but rather to earn the most points by completing different tasks like unlocking doors or inserting items. This map could only be played on bot gamemode. The bots of this map are DJ, Russo and Sabrina.

Appearance

The RB Battles Studio is split into 2 parts; the studio itself and the tower. The players spawn in the studio, which is a large building with a similar color scheme to the Refinery. It has very little rooms and is filled with tables and arcade games. The studio also has a stage section, which is mainly black and resembles the RB Battles stage featured in the episodes. The tower, which is outside of the studio, is quite tall and not nearly as wide. This uses the RB Battles color scheme as well as white and gray.

Storyline

The player walks up to the booth at the entrance and asks to see the championships. However, since no one is around, they then suggest to come back later. But before they can leave, the main door gets locked, and they need to find out how to get out.

Bot Behavior

These bots function differently than other traditional bots. They will follow you around, but they cannot kill Players, and instead stun them for some seconds, signalized by a pop-up above the stunned Player's head that says "BONK!". A stunned Player will not get followed by the bots until they are no longer stunned. These bots will also only follow you around in their respective area. Russo's area is the lobby, Sabrina's area is the stage area and the backstage, and DJ's area is outside and the tower.

• Coin: In the middle of the dancing game in the lobby after entering the displayed numbers six times without failing.
• Show Ticket: In the front desk right of the dancing game after giving the coin.
• x2 Batteries: In the stage area's clothing section, on an eating bench near the cafeteria, in the wrench generator room in the lobby, or in the meeting room in the lobby.

Player Spawn: At the entrance of the lobby area of the studio. Russo Spawn: At the right door inside the lobby of the studio. Sabrina Spawn: Inside the RB Battles merch store by the area where the stage is located.

DJ Spawn: In the outside area close to the green door by a red car.

Trivia

• This is the first map not to appear in the Map Voting section of the main game. Instead, the player can access a special menu for the chapter by the RB Battles Icon on the left Side of the Main Menu screen.
  • RB Battles Spaceship is the second map to have this feature.
• Instead of the usual "Piggy has woken up!" message, it will display "The hosts have appeared!".
• If you shoot the bots with the gun, it will either say Sabrina, Russo, or DJ is gone for 20 seconds, similar to the first four main bots in Piggy: Book 2 and the secondary bots from Piggy: Book 1.
• On the right side of the Green Key building where you can escape the map, you can no-clip through the wall. This is most likely a bug.
  • DJ would still chase any player that would go through the wall.
    • Due to this it was possible to kill DJ by having him follow you to the edge of the map and jumping sideways over the void as DJ would try to chase you of the map and he would fall and die.
• This is the second map to have hostile bots that don’t kill you and send you back to the menu, with the first being Plant, the third being Breakout, and the forth being RB Battles Spaceship.
• This and RB Battles Spaceship are the only "Extra Maps" to have badges associated with them.
• You actually don't necessarily need to complete the map to get the Championship badge; as long as you have the most points and you run out of time, you will still get the badge.
• MiniToon patched a bug where there would be hundreds of players instead of the normal 6 in the RB Battles Studio.
  • MiniToon also fixed another bug where winners wouldn't get the badge and only made the escaping event worth 3 points.
• This is the only map to have the Show Ticket as an item.
• If someone escapes the round is automatically over. The game will then display the Player that got the most points.
• DJ, Russo and Sabrina are not obtainable skins, similarly to Glitchy.
• This was the only map with a points system.
  • This mechanic would then be implemented over three years later in the main game as an added modifier gamemode in VIP Servers.
• This is the first map which can be played, but a player is unable to become Piggy, the second being Breakout, the third being RB Battles Spaceship, and the fourth being Decay.
  • After the Decay update, players now can be the piggy although in an infection-like mode.
• The Escape Soundtrack of this map is different than the removed Escape Soundtrack of the first three chapters (House, Station, and Gallery).
• This is the first map to have a climbable ladder, with the second one being Docks.
• This is the latest and only map released after Book 2 to still use the Book 1 dialogue style and doors.
  • This is likely because the RB Battles Season 2 badges were added to the game before Book 2 was.
  • This map also takes many rooms and mechanics from book 1 maps like the generators from Forest, the office room from School, the battery slot from Station and Plant, the claw machine and kitchen from Mall (The claw machine is not useable but put in the map for decoration purposes), and the vial stand from Plant.
• This is one of the few chapters without the Orange Key.
• This is the last chapter to have a gun inside the purple safe.
• When being teleported to the map, the game was called "Piggy RB Battles Event".
• Since it's removal in April 2nd, 2021, and the return of Distorted Memory, this is the map that has been unavailable the longest at four years since the last time the map was playable.
