"Grrr... You haven't seen the last of us!"
― Rash, Alleys - Chapter 1
Rash is a character in Piggy: Book 2. He was a former ally of Willow, Pony, and Billy, but got infected shortly after the infection broke out. Rash makes his first on-screen appearance in Alleys - Chapter 1, where he serves as the bot and antagonist. He then reappears in Heist as a friendly NPC and is also mentioned in a note in Refinery - Chapter 3, where it is revealed that he was Tigry's friend.
Appearance
Rash is a light gray raccoon with a whitish-gray snout, black nose, dark gray facial mask, eyebrows, whitish pointy ears with blackish interior and pronounced fur on sides of his head. He has a gray streak along his snout and a bushy raccoon tail, albeit his tail doesn't have rings. He wears a small, blackish hat over his right ear, blue pants, and a white t-shirt with black stripes. He wields a crowbar as a weapon.
When he got infected, Rash's eyes contained black sclera and an orange pupil in his right eye, similar to his skin counterpart. A notable difference from his skin counterpart is that he lacks his crowbar and his eyebrows point downwards to display an angry expression.
History
Early Life
Not much is known about Rash's early life other than the fact that he was a raccoon who lived in Evalia (likely in Lucella) and that he was a part of a group with Willow, Billy, and Pony. That said, it is unknown how he met the group. He was also friends with Tigry, who he met after Tigry deserted the military.[1]
The Heist
One night in the alleys, Willow is contemplating to Rash, Billy and Pony about her brother William's attitude towards her. Billy pipes up, saying that they should all steal something nice for him. They all agree except for Pony, who suggests that they should buy him something instead. Willow says that they have to steal because they're broke, and Pony begrudgingly agrees to steal.
Rash helps out during the heist by using a crowbar given to him by Pony or Willow (depending on who you're playing as) to break the door of the hotel down, whereupon Pony and Willow can search it. Soon, they find a pie in a building called Baba's Pies, which is guarded by Officer Poley, and they return it back to William. Unfortunately, Willow finds out that William has run away, and she is left heartbroken.
Arrest in the Alleys
During a robbery in an alleyway by the art gallery, Rash and Willow are tracked down by the Player and Officer Doggy. Willow runs to the building she lived in, and Rash stays outside to stop the officers.
Their mission fails however, as the Player and Doggy managed to get to Willow before Rash could stop them. Willow, having no other choice, surrenders. As Rash sneaks behind the Player and Doggy to attack them, Willow dissuades him from doing so, saying that it's not worth it. Rash swears that the officers will see him and Willow again before the two are arrested and put in prison.
Becoming Infected
At some point, Rash gets infected in an unknown way. After Willow escapes prison, he is seen barricaded in a room in Leo's Laundromat with Willow looking at him. Though the exact reason for this is unknown, it is likely that someone trapped him in there due to him becoming an infected. What happened to Rash afterwards is unknown, though he is presumably still alive but infected.
Relationships
Character | Status | Description of Interaction | First Interaction Location |
---|---|---|---|
Willow | Before the infection: Friends
During the infection: Unknown |
Since Rash worked for the gang that Willow created, Willow was his boss and it appears that they are on positive terms. He helped her and Pony by breaking the door of the hotel, allowing them to proceed and search the building for useful items. After the Heist, Rash was the only one who still helped Willow steal supplies from all over the city. Unfortunately for them, the Player and Doggy later managed to track them down at the alleys. Since he was really loyal to Willow, Rash attacked the Player, though he can be stunned by Doggy if Doggy is given a battery. When the Player and Doggy finally cornered Willow, Rash snuck up behind them with an intention of hurting them, only to be dissuaded from doing so by Willow (who thus also exposes Rash's intentions, since if she didn't, he would probably succeeded and they could have escaped), who told him that it's not worth it. Rash objected to this, saying that the officers would arrest them both, which is exactly what happened, but not before Rash said: "Grrr... You haven't seen the last of us!". Although Rash and Willow eventually escaped from the prison, Rash got infected later. Because of how good of a friend he was to her and how many times he helped her, instead of killing him, Willow trapped him in a small room which she barricaded with wooden planks so he wouldn't cause harm to anyone, probably thinking someone will once find him and cure him, which she was unable to do at the moment. | Unknown |
Billy | Before the infection: Friends
During the infection: Unknown |
Rash and Billy worked together during the Heist to steal the pie for William. Although they don't have much interaction, it appears that they are on positive terms. | Unknown |
Pony | Before the infection: Friends
During the infection: Unknown |
Rash and Pony worked together during the Heist to steal the pie for William and helped Pony break into the hotel (depending if you play as Pony or not). It appears that they are on positive terms. | Unknown |
Poley | Before the infection: Enemies
During the infection: Unknown |
Since he was Willow's, Pony's and Billy's accomplice during the Heist, Rash was in danger of being arrested by Poley. Additionally, since Poley also wanted to arrest his friends, they are on negative terms. | Heist |
William | Before the infection: Friends
During the infection: Unknown |
Although it is unknown if Rash had any interactions with William, it is possible that he did and that they are on good terms, especially judging by the fact that William is Willow's brother. | Unknown |
Doggy | Before the infection: Enemies
During the infection: Unknown |
Doggy pursued Rash and Willow for stealing supplies from all over the city. When Rash attacked the Player to protect Willow from being arrested, the Player can give a battery to Doggy. Doing so will cause Doggy to chase Rash and tase him, stunning him for a short period. When the Player and Doggy finally corner Willow, Rash proceeds to sneak behind them in attempt to attack them when they're off-guard, though he is stopped from doing this by Willow, who tells him that it's not worth it. Rash objects to this, saying that they will both get arrested, to which Doggy tells him: "We’d rather do that than take you out." Rash only replies with: "Grrr... You haven't seen the last of us!" Because of all of this, it is clear that Rash and Doggy are on negative terms. | Alleys - Chapter 1 |
Player | Before the infection: Enemies
During the infection: Unknown |
The Player pursued Rash and Willow for stealing supplies from all over the city. Despite all of this, the Player felt that arresting Willow and Rash wasn't a right thing to do. | Alleys - Chapter 1 |
Tigry | Before the infection: Friends
During the infection: Unknown |
In one of the notes in Refinery, Tigry writes: "They all took one look at me and just threw me away like I was nothing to them. Not Rash, though. We were alike. We were friends." which reveals that Tigry and Rash are on positive terms. In Docks, when he is asked by the Player why does he want the cure so much, Tigry replies by saying: "To save an old friend of mine. Just like you." which, although not confirmed, likely is referring to Rash, since Rash is both Tigry's friend and got infected. | Unknown |

Alleys - Chapter 1
- "What? Why? They'll take us away!"
- "Grrr... You haven't seen the last of us!"
Trivia
- He was most likely intending to hurt the Player and Officer Doggy before Willow told him it wasn't worth it.
- Rash has the lowest amount of quotes out of any character with a line in the game, having only two, both in Alleys.
- Rash looks upwards when he's stunned. The same thing happens with Mr. Stitchy, Raze, Alfis, Mari, Dakoda, Archie, Kona, and Tobi.
- He is the third uninfected bot in Piggy, with first one being Robby, the second being Mr. P, the fourth being Tigry, the fifth being Willow, the sixth being Poley and the seventh being Duocara.
- His weapon can be found here in the Roblox Catalog.
- Similar to a glitch with other bots, when Rash is stunned in Alleys, there's a chance that he can still move around and follow players, but he can only attack after his stun duration is over. The glitch can be viewed here. This has been fixed.
- When you stun him, it won't say the default "Piggy is gone for 20 seconds". Instead, it will say "Rash is gone for 20 seconds". The same thing happens with Doggy, Foxy, Grandmother, Mousy, Dessa, Tigry, and Raze in their respective maps.
- Rash's name is a mix of "Raccoon" and "Trash" as confirmed by MiniToon on Twitter in his posts called Fun Piggy Facts.
- It was first revealed in one of MiniToon's interviews that Rash would return to Piggy as an infected or uninfected, which he did as an infected in Heist.
- In Docks, when the Player asks why Tigry wants the cure, Tigry replies with: "To save an old friend of mine. Just like you. If you join me, I'll help get your friend back." It is generally believed that the person Tigry is referring to is Rash.
- He is the only one not to wear a black band across his face during Heist.
- Despite having a jumpscare sound when killing a player, he doesn't have an activation noise in Heist. This makes him one of the few helpful NPCs to lack an activation noise, the others being Bunny, Zee, Willow, Billy and Tigry.
- One of the ideas MiniToon had for Rash's name was Racket, though it wasn't used since it was too similar to "Rocket Raccoon", the raccoon from Guardians of the Galaxy.[2]
