Refinery is the third chapter in Piggy: Book 2 and the fifteenth chapter of Piggy overall. It was released on November 1st, 2020. Tigry is the canonical main bot for this map, along with other T.S.P. members being secondary bots. The only skin added along with this chapter is Tigry (Uniform).
Appearance
This oil refinery, owned by The Silver Paw, has multiple rooms, such as conference and meeting rooms, a cafeteria, a kitchen, rooms for oil barrels, a cell, multiple hallways, an outside garden and much more. There are oil refinery tanks to the building's left, and there are cars surrounding the entrance. The building itself is surrounded by fences and trees.
Storyline
The Player and Pony, looking for Zizzy, arrive at the The Silver Paw base, which is an oil refinery. Pony states that he doesn't recognize this building, but they should be able to find Zizzy and escape anyway. The game then starts. Tigry, a member of The Silver Paw, is chasing the Player while they try to navigate the refinery, and the other members of The Silver Paw can attack them as well if they spot them. The Player and Pony break into a room and find Zizzy knocking out an Infected called Poley. She says she has been battling infected all day and that she even started enjoying doing it. Then, the Player tells Zizzy that they should get out of there soon because the The Silver Paw will find out that something went wrong sooner or later. But then, Zizzy reveals her arm and sees that she has a scratch from an infected, and she realizes that she will become infected.
She tells the Player and Pony to go, but Pony tells her that they will find a cure for her. Zizzy says that if there was a cure, then they wouldn't be here in the first place. She then says that she will sabotage as much as she can to make a distraction and tells the Player and Pony to leave once more. Pony reluctantly agrees, hugs her and says goodbye. The Player tells Zizzy to take care. Zizzy says goodbye too and then says that she will miss both of you. The Player and Pony leave the base. The scene then switches to the Player and Pony returning to the The Safe Place. Mimi, Giraffy, Georgie, Zee, Zuzy, who were all waiting, stare silently at the Player and Pony in dismay, knowing what happened. The camera afterwards fades to black.

Anonymous User: So, this is where they took Zizzy. Have you been here before?
Pony: No, I don't recognize this place at all... Either way, we can do this.
Pony: Be careful, Anonymous User! They must have guards everywhere in there.
(When Anonymous User gets near Pony in the upstairs)
Pony: Got any carrots? I could easily get into this vent and make a distraction with one!
(When Anonymous User gets near Pony in the place where you escape)
Pony: If you can find a battery and open the door ahead, I can lead this guy away with this car I found in the vent!
Zizzy: Pony! Anonymous User! It's so nice to see you again!
Zizzy: You won't believe the amount of infected I've knocked out today. I even started to enjoy doing it!
Pony: Zizzy! I'm so relieved to know you're OK.
Anonymous User: We should probably get out of here. They'll find out that something went wrong here sooner or later.
Pony: You're right, we should definitely get out. Come on, Zizzy!
Zizzy: Ah, hang on. I think I may have pulled a muscle.
(Zizzy checks her arm to reveal a scratch.)
Zizzy: Oh...
Pony: That's not... that's not from an infected, is it?
Zizzy: I...
Zizzy: You two need to leave.
Pony: We're not going anywhere without you. We can get you help!
Pony: We'll find a cure, we can save you!
Zizzy: If there was a cure, we wouldn't even be here, Pony.
Zizzy: You don't want to see me become one of them, so go.
Zizzy: I'll create a distraction and sabotage as much as I can while you escape.
Anonymous User: Take care, Zizzy.
Zizzy: Good luck, you two. I'll miss you.
(Anonymous User and Pony return to the Safe Place silently. No one says a word because they already know the bad news. The screen then fades to black.)Locations

- Purple key: Under the stairs when Pony vents, in the room to the right of where Pony vents, or in the oil storage that Filip guards.
- Red key: On a chair where Felix takes guard, a bench under the stairs by the red room, or on the shelf in the room near Baren with the large pipe.
- White Key: In the Purple Safe.
- Screwdriver: On a shelf in the red key room.
- Gun: Inside one of the bedrooms, inside the Cafeteria Kitchen, or inside the red key room.

Events
Primrose Skin Quest
Note: She is no longer obtainable since the Winter Holiday Hunt is over.
To obtain the Primrose skin, you had to do the following.
- Choose Refinery.
- Do all the normal steps to escape until you are able to get Katie out of the way.
- Head to the door that is located at the top right of the orange key room. ??? (who is possibly Primrose) will say: "Hey you! You're not a guard right? Think you can help me get out of here? They trapped me for stealing a donut!"
- Obtain the gun and use it on the door. No ammo is required.
- ??? will then say: "Oh! Well, that didn't work at all. Maybe something else will help!". Note that this consumes the gun for the rest of the round.
- Then, get the screwdriver, and use it on the door.
- ??? will take your screwdriver and will say "Thanks, I hope you won't be needing this screwdriver! I'll give you a little gift somewhere on my way out!". Note that this consumes the screwdriver for the rest of the round.
- Find the gift, which is a present, and you will hear a cha-ching sound signifying you have gotten Primrose.
Gift Locations
- In the kitchen near the fridge.
- Beside a bench near the piggy spawn outside.
- Next to the filing cabinet in the room that the blue key is used.
Trivia
- Tigry spawns right behind where the player spawns.
- This is the first map in the game to have more than one secondary bot that is not the exact same skin, with six total.
- Only one skin was released at the time the map was released, which was Tigry (Uniform).
- This is the first chapter to be released with only one skin as part of it (even if another was released the following day) the second being Docks (Kona was added three weeks after), the third being Heist, the fourth being Distraction, the sixth being Breakout, and the seventh being the Metallica x Piggy Event.
- Refinery is the first chapter with T.S.P in the gameplay.
- Refinery has six bots if you are on Player or Infection gamemode. Refinery has seven if you are on Bot, Player + Bot, or Traitor. Refinery has sixteen if you're playing on Swarm and all ten swarm bots are spawned.
- This means that this is the largest quantity of bots that any chapter has had so far.
- This is the second map to have more than two unique bot skins in it. The first is Plant, the third one is Ship, and the fourth one is Camp.
- When you shoot one of the guards, it says, "Piggy is gone for 20 seconds". However, when you stun Tigry, it says, "Tigry is gone for 20 seconds."
- There was a glitch with The Silver Paw members, that if they do the jumpscare sound while seeing you, you stun them with a gun, and they still do the jumpscare sound when stunned. The videos made by AllyAnnShelton can be found here, here, here, here, here, and here.
- This has now been fixed.
- This also happens when a player uses Camouflage and walks into a guards line of sight.
- This has now been fixed.
- There is a glitch where the ending cutscene can break as seen in one of KreekCraft's streams.
- Apart from Distraction, Winter Holiday and Mansion, this is currently the only Book 2 chapter that does not have Willow making a physical appearance.
- This is the third chapter where a main character becomes infected. The others being Forest and Metro.
- Due to the massive update changing character designs, some of the redesigns can be seen in this chapter, particularly Pony.
- This is the first chapter to have more than four notes, with a total of eleven.
- According to the notes in this map, Foxy was a member of The Silver Paw. Not much is known about his history in the group, aside from the fact that he was relocated, which may explain why he is found trapped inside the cage in Carnival.
- Excluding Traitor, this is the first map in Book 2 to use the gun, the second being Port, the third being Ship, the fourth being Docks, and the fifth being Heist.
- From this chapter onward, items inside the safe (which are the carrot from the yellow safe and the white key from the purple safe, respectively) don't appear until the safe is unlocked. This is used to discourage glitching to get the items from safes.
- Zee's journal in The Safe Place confirms the events of Store and Refinery happened on the 4th of November in the Piggy storyline.
- This is the last chapter until Ship to not have any Insolence symbols in it.
- If you look closely at the "Settlement 6" sign, it's actually shown as "Settlement 5", the number 6 noticeably faded showing the number 5. If you look even closer, you can make out the words "Lucella Oil Refinery" on the sign.
- Pony used to be bugged. If you gave him a carrot, he would jump inside the vent but reappear in front of the vent instead of where he normally should.
- This is the third chapter to have an uninfected main bot, the first being Mall, the second being Alleys, the fourth being Heist, and the fifth being Mansion.
- The TSP members spotting hitbox isn't connected to the models but the map itself.
- The exterior of Refinery was designed after a refinery that MiniToon lived near.
- 1.8M people own the “Completed Refinery” badge as of February 4th, 2025.
- During the ending of Refinery, the Player doesn't seem to recognize Poley despite them being colleagues and him appearing on the Player's picture along with Doggy. This is likely an oversight.
