Sentinel is an extra skin in Piggy. The only way to obtain it is by collecting all the pages in Piggy: Book 1.
Appearance
It is a creature made of a black substance. It wears a black, sludge-like dress with multi-coloured ribs showing through the dress. It also has claws, nostrils, eyes, and a smile which is partly covered by a black substance, all of which change through the colors of the rainbow. It also seems to be related to the Crawling Trap, which share both the same head and arms, but the Crawling Trap is missing most of its body, which this skin have.
Animations
Idle
Tilts its head as its body moves up and down in a breathing motion.
Walking
Same as the idle, but its arms are stretched out.
Jumpscare
Slides back and lifts its arms, then slides forward and stabs the player with its claws while lifting its head.
Stunned
Looks up and lowers its arms, with occasional head twitching (only happens when its animation is not loading).
Trivia
- This is one of the many skins that don't have a handheld weapon, the others being Dinopiggy, Skelly, Kraxicorde, Mari, Spidella, Parasee, Marley Russell, Kamosi, ???, Piggy (Distorted, Raze, Kamosi, Mr. Stitchy, Anteo, Bakari, Ombra, Robby, Budgey, Mr. P, Duocara, Meisery, Blatt, The Prototype, Mr. Bliss, and Lisa.
- This is the second skin to gradually change colours, the first being Anteo.
- In the shop and intermission screen, it appears white like the Crawling Trap.
- Despite being obtainable by getting all pages in Book 1, Sentinel only appears in it during the RB Battles event after you blow up a wall with dynamite, long after being added as a page reward.
- It is one of three page reward skins, the others being Willow and Piggy (Distorted). The other two are obtained by collecting all pages from Book 2.
- When any emote is used, Sentinel doesn't move. This is due to the arm being two parts: the glowing arm and the black arm, so the torso and arms are named outer arm, inner arm, and torso part which are not the names of the normal character's torso and arms which leads to the skin not moving.
- This is the first skin to have color changing eyes, with the second being Gryffyn.
- It has the fourth shortest soundtrack in Piggy at 10 seconds, with the third being Zompiggy at 7 seconds, the second being Piggy (Distorted) at 6 seconds, and the first being Dakoda at 2 seconds.
- Sentinel is one of the skins that is not physically an animal, along with Robby, Mr. P, Mari, and ???.
- Similarly to Ombra, Sentinel doesn't have a stun animation. However, it has a stun animation if its idle and walking animation are not fully loaded.
- Due to its size, it has trouble going through some spaces. This is similar to what happens with some other skins, like Kraxicorde.
- Sentinel was bugged and had issues using the Teleporters along with Piggy (Distorted), Ombra, ???, Spidella, Duocara, and Meisery. This could be solved by placing them in the air while falling from a high enough place, like the House stairs.
- Sentinel is one of the few skins that is smaller than its bot counterpart, with the others being Spidella, Delta, Piggy (Distorted), and Twins.
- Sentinel is part of a said "family" called Ink Monsters with Blatt, Ombra, and Umbra due to all three sharing the characteristic of having stripes of color on a black body.
