Shardantus is a skin in Piggy. He was added into the game as one of the 2022 Custom Skin Contest winners, along with Jakayla, Glenn, Marley Russell, and Fergus. He was designed by dinodoesstuffs.

Shardantus is a large, muscular great white shark. His skin is mainly gray though the eye marks and underside of his bottom jaw is white, and he has small, darker gray cheeks. He has 5 vertical gills on each side of his head, a snout with a visible mouth, two large nostrils and sharp, pointy teeth with one gold tooth and dark blue sclera with light red pupils. He has a scar across his right eye and small eyebrow looking downwards to display an angry expression. He wears a large gold crown on his head that's midnight blue on the inside. There is a large, vertical eye at the center with the same sclera and pupil color as Shardantus, though it also has a tinier blue pupil. He has a large fin on his back that has a yellow piercing at the end, and a tail with a yellow and black piece of fabric partially covering it. His outfit consists of a dark brown coat that consists of a collar with golden skull shaped shoulder pads, with a white shirt and black stripes underneath, paired with a strap belt across it, a yellow belt with blue buckles, short black pants with yellow stripes and black shoes. He wears a large golden crown with a vertical eye that resembles his infected eyes, a large glowing blue clam as a necklace and small golden bracelets as accessories. His weapon is of a trident that appears to be made of bones at the base with three golden prongs and a black clam shell.

Same as the current, however he doesn't have a gold tooth and his scar and gills were less detailed. He doesn't wear a strap belt over his torso, his coat is much lighter in color and is modeled differently, overlapping the belt and lacking the collar. His shoulder pads are less detailed, he has red gems at the side of his shoes and the buckle is colored gray. Additionally, the clam shell from his trident is colored white instead of black.

Same as the current, however his snout is modeled differently and his arms has visible fingers. He lacks bracelets and the sleeves of his jacket extend to his hands. His shoulder pads appear to be more reflective similar to that of Gold Piggy and its horns are colored brown. He wears pants instead of short and that alongside his belt are also reflective.

Animations

Idle

Stands upright with his trident held forward and and his unarmed hand held in front of his face. His water aura spins around him while he stares forward. His head is slightly tilted.

Walking

Marches while banging the bottom of his trident on the ground.

Jumpscare

His eyes roll backwards into his head, before he impales the player with the trident, followed by biting the player.

Stunned

Holds his hand on his chest, while staring forwards and twitching.

There is a low chance that his stunned animation will change to a secondary, secret one. This version shows him kneeling down, covering his face, and has a scared expression. Also, his eyes are rolled back into his head, and his head slightly shakes.

Trivia

• Shardantus placed 2nd Place in the Skin Contest with 430 votes, but the creator's original shark skin was made in August of 2020. According to dinodoesstuffs, he was originally created as a concept to celebrate Shark Week 2020. This was confirmed in an interview.
• According to dinodoesstuffs, he plans to redesign Shardantus in order to reduce lag and optimise him. Most of his animation were confirmed to be remade as well as a poll asking the community if they're interested in the newer remade model of Shardantus. The results have concluded, with the votes being in favor of the new design of Shardantus. Dinodoesstuffs has also confirmed Shardantus will receive a new theme if his newer design is added into the game. He has also stated that he might make the newer remade model of Shardantus into a free alternate skin for those who want to keep the current design in the game.
• Shardantus has a secret secondary stun animation which appears to have a rare chance of happening when you stun him. He is the only skin that has this trait. According to dinodoesstuffs, this plays upon being shot at the eye in his crown.
• He is one of three skins that PghLFilms has contributed to, the others being Spidella and Silzous.
• Despite not being involved with any holiday, season, or crossover event; Shardantus still counts as an extra skin.
  • This also applies to Phenna, Sentinel, Laura, Fergus, Marley Russell, Glenn, Ombra, The Prototype and Jakayla.
• Shardantus was previously called "Steven", and even just "Sharky" when he was first made in August 2020.
• Shardantus has a number of emotes, those being:
  • /e dance1 - The macarena, which he shares with Jakayla, animated by PghLFilms.
  • /e dance2 - The rickroll dance, which he shares with Marley Russell, also animated by PghLFilms.
  • /e rock - The Rock’s eyebrow raise, inspired by the meme and is the only emote animated by his creator, dinodoesstuffs.
  • /e distract - The distraction dance, which he shares with Jakayla, Marley Russell, and Fergus inspired by the Henry Stickmin collection, animated by AJ_Rblx.
  • /e whip - The whip + nae, nae, animated by KaiuDex, the modeller of Glenn.
    • Shardantus was meant to have an extra emote, /e peter, where he was supposed to do the "Family Guy death pose", but was scrapped for being "too overpowered.” According to Shardantus' creator, it is because the emote could be used to hide unfairly under decorations or obstacles within the game.
• He shares his cost with Billy, Mari, Crove, and the rest of the 2022 Custom Skin Contest winners (Fergus, Marley Russell, Glenn, and Jakayla), costing 500 Piggy Tokens.
• According to dinodoesstuffs, his theme is a reference to Jaws.
• He and Marley Russell delayed the 2022 Contest Skins addition update for being too part heavy.
  • The standard limit for skin parts that MiniToon uses is 30, with 60 parts starting to cause performance issues (an example being Silzous). While it is unknown how much parts Shardantus had, Fergus has a total of 150 parts indicating that Shardantus has over the same amount.
• Shardantus is the first character in the game to be a fish, the second being Eelektra. He is also one of the few skins to be an aquatic animal.
• According to dinodoesstuffs, Shardantus speaks with a light Irish accent.
• When asked if Shardantus is 21 years old, dinodoestuffs implied that he may or may not be older than said age.
• Shardantus and Billy are the only skins in the entire game that appear muscular due to the Roblox Superhero Bundle.
  • However, while Billy only has Superhero bundle's torso, Shardantus has Superhero bundle's torso and arms.
  • They, along with Eelektra, are also the only skins with piercings.
• Shardantus is the second skin to use a trident as a weapon, with the first one being Devil.
  • However, Devil uses a pitchfork often associated with the devil, whereas Shardantus uses a trident often associated with the Greek god Poseidon.
• Shardantus is the first skin to have footsteps that sync up exactly with the walk animation, the second being Carver.
• Shardantus and Marley Russell apparently delayed the update for being "too high quality".
• Shardantus is one of the few skins to only have the pitch of their soundtrack changed, the others being Badgy, Budgey, Dakoda, Archie, Spidella, ??? and Jakayla.
• Unlike skins like Piggy and Sheepy, he uses a different shade of red for his pupils. This is also the case for Kitty, Daisy, Dakoda and Beary.
• Shardantus is the second skin to use a skinned mesh (his jacket), with the first being ???.
• Shardantus is currently the second tallest skin in the game, behind ???.
• Due to the size of the skin, it has some trouble fitting in certain areas in certain maps.
• According to dinodoesstuffs, Shardantus’ action of retracting its eyes into its head during the jumpscare is based on how actual sharks will move their eyes inside their head during combat.
• He is one of the many skins to have a unique stun animation.
• According to dinodoesstuffs, his armor is reflective. During the night, it appears golden but in daylight it appears tan/beige. This is similar to what happens with Kraxicorde's eye marks.
• His aura, third eye, tail and piercing aren’t animated in his emotes.
• Shardantus was planned to have a crunching sound in his jumpscare, but this was scrapped due to it being “too brutal”.
• Gems can be seen on Shardantus' shoes in the shop, but these do not appear when using the skin in game. This was removed as an attempt to reduce lag when using him.
• He is one of the few skins to have an animated hat, which is the eye going up and down.
• Shardantus is the fourth skin with a theme composed by PianoVampire, the first being Billy, the second being Kraxicorde, the third being Silzous, and the fifth being Jakayla.
• He and Jakayla are the only skins whose theme was composed by PianoVampire but were not designed by TenuousFlea.
• Shardantus' water aura doesn't appear on mobile.
• Dinodoesstuffs was planning on improving Shardantus' arm model before he was released, but couldn't finish it in time.

• His soundtrack is by Piano Vampire, called Oceanic Encounter, but slightly lower pitch. It can be listened to here. It can be found on Roblox as Shardantus_Theme.
• His jumpscare sound is from the final scene of Jaws 4 at the 49 second mark.
• The wind sound in his jumpscare is called Wind Gust 2.
• His hit sound is an audio called bladedismember3.
