Shattered Hope is a Piggy: Intercity teaser trailer that premiered on March 30th, 2025 on MiniToon's YouTube channel. The video on YouTube can be found here. This is the first of multiple upcoming teasers for Piggy: Intercity.[1]
Summary[]
The trailer opens with alarm sounds and explosions, then abruptly cuts to multiple shots of a destroyed city under rainfall. Someone, presumably a wolf or fox, begins limping across the abandoned streets. They wear torn clothing and have a slender build with long arms. The figure groans as it makes its way across the streets, toward a broken vial of the Cure. They then stop groaning, and their head starts twitching as they slowly face toward the camera, revealing their glowing red eye. They then start making shrieking noises as they jump toward the camera. It then cuts to black with text reading "PIGGY: INTERCITY PART I" and "COMING 2025."
Trivia[]
- The model of the body of the infected inside the teaser was made earlier than the head model, thus making the model overall appear disconnected. MiniToon has stated that the body will be updated upon the release of Piggy: Intercity.[2]
- The video's description is listed as "So close, yet so very far."
- The video was first hinted at in a Decay 40 player event, where MiniToon stated that he was working on a "surprise" for the next few days.[3] This would be followed up by a Twitter post, revealing the surprise to be a teaser for Piggy: Intercity.[4]
- According to MiniToon, the teaser doesn't necessarily take place 10 years after the current events.
