Ship is the eighth chapter of Piggy: Book 2 and the 20th chapter overall. Archie is the canonical main bot and antagonist for this map, and along with Kamosi, were added as skins when the map released. Kenneth, Bobby and Pepper are the secondary bots. Willow is a friendly NPC in this chapter and will knock the secondary bots out if they are activated, much like Zizzy in Outpost.
Appearance[]
The Medora ship is a large red and black ship with smoke stacks, three wooden decks, a storage room, a bedroom with bunks, a cafeteria, a staircase room, the pipes room, an engine room, a radio room, hallways, a large cargo room, and a control room; it is a 6-story ship, including three lower floors, two upper floors, and one main floor.
Storyline[]
Budgey first says that they need to find gasoline. Thus, both the Player and Willow decide to head down beneath the Medora to retrieve the fuel. The Player is then ambushed by an infected crew member named Archie, along with Pepper, Bobby, and Kenneth. After opening the green crate where the fuel is, the Player and Willow conversate about the amount of fuel left when suddenly, Kenneth comes from behind as the Player warns Willow, whereupon the opening of the crate closes. Willow angrily bangs on the door, then complains about being stuck with the Player in the fuel crate. The Player argues with her and conversate about their separate lives, and eventually she asks where her parents are. The Player says that they don't have their records on Willow's parents, and after more arguments, the rest of the Safe Place group eventually finds them locked up. Pony says that Georgie was the one who managed to find them after hearing them fighting down below deck. Zuzy jokes about him being helpful for once in finding you. Mimi also says that they can't waste time, as they have got a friend to meet, and that they have got a mission to follow. There is then a loud gunshot/boom noise coming from above. Pony suggests that everyone checks it out. Budgey, saying they surprisingly made it, eventually has the screen turn to a sky view, in which there are (somewhat) loud gunshots and sparks in the sky as the screen fades into black.

Anonymous User: It should be just enough for us to get across the sea.
Willow: If it gets you to shut up, I'm all for it.
Anonymous User: Willow, behind you!
*Kenneth comes, and hits the lock button on the crate, locking them in*
Willow: No, no, NO! *Bangs on the door*
Willow: Great. Fantastic. Now I'm trapped in here with you.
Anonymous User: That's not possible, I'm sure we can get it open!
Willow: We've got nothing but barrels to get out of here.
Anonymous User: Well, since we're trapped, I guess we're gonna need to learn to get to know each other.
Willow: I'd rather get to know a sewer gator than a dirty cop.
Anonymous User: I was just following orders, Willow. I was doing my job.
Willow: So was I, I was protecting my family.
Anonymous User: There was nobody in your room when we searched it.
Willow: Because you cops took them away already. I haven't seen my parents for over a decade. Now tell me, where are they?
Anonymous User: I don't know Willow, I don't have their records on me.
Willow: You're right, because you're just another cog in a big machine. That's all you'll ever be.
Anonymous User: You took away friends from me too, you know. You're no angel.
Willow: We can't be angels in a world like this, Anonymous User.
Anonymous User: We need to work together to help each other out, or else we'll just end up hurting each other and ourselves even more.
Anonymous User: I want to help you, Willow. So, I ask that you do the same for me. For us.
Willow: What's the use in that...?
Georgie: They're in here!
*door opens*
Anonymous User: What the- how'd you find us?!
Pony: We didn't hear anything from you guys for a while, so we tried to find you ourselves.
Pony: Georgie, the little rascal, ran ahead and heard you two from inside.
Georgie: Hey! I was just trying to help!!
Zuzy: Yeah, for once!
Georgie: You take that back!
Anonymous User: Where's Budgey?
*Boom sounds*
Anonymous User: Huh?!
Pony: We should check out what's going on.
*Screen goes black*
Anonymous User: What's happening?
Budgey: We've arrived.
*Flashes in the sky*

- Blue Key: next to the purple safe, in the hallway behind the blue key room, or on a bench near the railing on the same side of the map as where piggy spawns.
- Wrench: In the orange key room.
- Green Key: In the blue key room, on a shelf next to the red key door, or on a shelf under the stairs that lead you to the red door.
- Orange Key: On a bench in between where the player spawns and the green door closest to where the player spawns, on a seat in the cafeteria, on a bench near some stairs that lead to the lockers, or on a bench near the stairs that lead you to the red door.
- Red Key: Behind and to the right of the green door closest to where the player spawns, on a shelf in the room where Bobby spawns, on a shelf near where Pepper spawns, or on a bench on the top floor.

- x4 Color Code Hints (Unable to be picked up): All four of them are in the bridge on some of the screens.
- Gun: On a shelf near where Pepper spawns, on a bench on the top floor, or on a bench in the red key room near the exit door.
- x3 Ammo: On a bench near the lockers, behind and to the right of the green door closest to where the player spawns, on a bench in the red key room near the exit door, or on a shelf under the stairs that lead you to the red door.
Hints and Leaks[]
- MiniToon claimed in a tweet that he said to BSlick that this chapter will probably be released on May 8th of 2021.
- However, this tweet was simply a joke.[1]
- In a tweet, MiniToon disclosed four different emojis: 🐺💥🚨🧸
- MiniToon sent a tweet about a quote: “Day 4: One of our crew mates was sick but hid it from us. We have no idea who is infected now. We all became paranoid and fear each other."[2]
- Because it says "One of our crew mates", it is possible that one of the crew mates wrote it in a diary or journal.
- On May 19th, 2021, MiniToon sent 3 other emojis: ❄️💧💨.
- “She’s told everyone different stories about the accident. Nobody knows which one’s the truth. Guess we’ll never find out.”
Easter Eggs[]
There is a radio transmission sound coming from the radio in the green key room. To hear this, go to a fresh and new server, select Ship, and go near the green key room. The voice is spoken from a female in numbers, and a man saying something backwards.
The man's message decoded says:
“Zee will never speak.
The Insolence,
Calls to you.
Help Me.
Run.
Her Hand Gone.
Smile for him.”
The woman's message decoded says:
“We stopped them up there and we will stop you too.”

Trivia[]
- It is tied to Port just like Outpost is tied with Plant.
- This was first confirmed in a tweet.[3]
- Archie spawns near the purple key safe, and in front of the boxes with the curtains.
- It was highly speculated to be The Medora, the name of the ship based on where the prior chapter left on and from the leaks.
- This is the first chapter that doesn't take place on land, it rather takes place on a watercraft vehicle, the second being RB Battles Spaceship's second phase.
- There are three secondary bots. They act similar to the T.S.P. members in Refinery, but they have shorter sights and slower speed, and Willow will try to stop those that are chasing a player, much like Zizzy in Outpost. However, after they get stopped by Willow, they will remain at their current location, instead of back to the original spot. They will also slump to the floor when they get stunned. Additionally, unlike T.S.P members, Budgey's crewmates do not have alarm signs when they chase you.
- Budgey mentioned that she docked the Medora at the Port for supplies as her fuel was stuck under the top deck with the infected.
- Many people speculated that Grandpa Pig would appear in this chapter, but he didn't, likely due to copyright reasons.
- This chapter marks one of two Book 2 appearances of the wrench. The other is Lab.
- This will be the second map to have two different intros and two endings, with the first being Port. Other previous maps with 2 endings were Plant and Factory.
- It was hypothesized that Kamosi would be the bot for the map due to Kamosi being in a leak for Ship.
- However, the bot is actually an infected crewmate known as Archie, and Kamosi was just added as an extra skin.
- This currently is the chapter with the most leaks at 7 image leaks and 7 emojis (total 14).
- When the sixth leak is brightened, Kenneth can be seen in a far distance sitting.
- Just like most Book 2 maps, the badge was released early.
- Based on the notes around the map, we know the names of three of the crewmates: Bobby, Kenneth, and Pepper. These are most likely "B", "K", and "P" respectively. However, there might have been even more crewmates, but they were probably tossed overboard when the infection started to spread on The Medora.
- Willow's phrase in both of the ending cutscenes, "I'd rather get to know a sewer gator than a dirty cop.", may be a reference to Alfis, which may indicate that Willow has encountered him before.
- This is the only map that has a unique door opening and closing sound.
- There is a secret message if you go into a VIP server, select Ship, and go to the right side of the ship. Then go to the second window outside the green key room. You can then hear a secret radio message.
- There is a jingle in the secret that is the same jingle that was in BSlick's call.
- The secret message in the radio was "Zee will never speak, The Insolence Calls to you, Help Me, Run, Her Hand Gone, Smile for him".
- Before the release of Distraction, people thought the radio said "Zizzy will never speak" instead of "Zee will never speak".
- When the numbers in the radio are turned into letters, then put into the Atbash Cipher decoder, then unscrambled, a second secret message can be found.
- The second secret message is "We stopped them up here and we'll stop you too".
- This could mean The Insolence brought the infected to Doveport to stop the military.
- If the guess is true, then the explosions would be the military and the infected having a battle. That could explain why the infected disappeared when Pony and the others saved the Player and Willow and could then also explain the other infected in the True Ending disappearing.
- The second secret message is "We stopped them up here and we'll stop you too".
- This map has the fifth advanced bot.
- The sound effect for when Archie sees you is higher pitched, sounding similar to Friend's jumpscare sound.
- HannahB458 made the Medora's Model, which was taken into account for this map.
- This is the fourth chapter to have ambient sounds, with the first being Sewers, the second being Factory, and the third being Port.
- This is MiniToon’s favorite chapter in Book 2.
- This, Store, Alleys, Refinery, Temple, Heist, Distraction, and Breakout are the only Book 2 chapters without a single eye of Insolence.
- Trapped With A Traitor, the soundtrack of the ending cutscene, later became the theme of the Anteo skin.
- Strangely, even if a player does not have Colorblind Mode enabled, the white lock on the exit will still show a W on on the lock.
- This also happens with the exit door in Temple.
- MiniToon said that some parts of Ship was based off of screenshots from cancelled beta Half-Life 2 maps and the uniforms for the crewmates were also based off of Half Life 2 beta characters.
- This is the 2nd map to have the bot showing it's skull with the first being Metro.
- 1.2M people own the “Completed Ship” badge as of February 4th, 2025.
