"Skelly's chattering teeth just add more layers of fear to his threatening figure."
― Skelly's description, Piggy: Hunt
Skelly is a skin in Piggy. Along with Beary, they were added when Hospital - Chapter 6 was released.
Appearance
Skelly's body, legs, and arms uses the Roblox Skeleton Package, but instead of a regular skull, it is replaced with a Piggy-shaped skull. Skelly's upper body is a goldish brown with dark brown cheeks and fully black eyes. Like all pigs in Piggy, Skelly has a circular snout with two nostrils. Unlike other pigs, however, Skelly has a visible mouth full of gritted yellow teeth.
In Piggy: Hunt, Skelly has been completely redesigned. Their bones are much lighter in color, and their skull now has a mandible. Their ears now have indents in them, and they have four ribs rather than five. Skelly's hands aren't very sharp anymore and now have five fingers rather than four. They also have no cheeks on their skull. There is also a white and bronze variant of this skin.
Animations
Idle
Their arms point forward, moving their head slowly from side to side.
Walking
Similar to their idle animation, but without their head moving, and with the legs and arms moving in a walking motion.
Jumpscare
They raise their right arm, whilst grabbing the player with their left arm as they tilt to the right, then finish the jumpscare by slashing the player with their right hand as they tilt to the left.
Stunned
Looks down and puts arms down, with occasional head twitching (overlays the current animation).
Trivia
- Skelly appears as a prop in the School's science room.
- The prop is also seen in the school in Piggy: Intercity.
- A customizable color and material variant of the prop was obtainable with the Spooky Decorations Pack during Season 5 - Witching Hour.
- MiniToon said in a livestream this was not supposed to be a skin, but since people requested it, he made it into one.
- During the Spooky Hunt, they appear in Alleys where they need to be reconstructed with the Skelly Parts, as part of a quest to obtain the Tombstone Trap.
- The Skelly Bot in Build Mode could somehow exploit through walls, but wouldn't walk through them to chase people.
- The Skelly Skin tends to topple over horizontal cylinders in Build Mode
- There was a glitch with the skin where it would be able to jump very high. This was later patched.
- They have the same cost as Dessa and Reindessa, costing 375 Piggy Tokens.
- This is the first skin that uses a Roblox Package that's not the Roblox Boy Package or Roblox Girl Package, in this case the Skeleton package, with the second being Budgey.
- Their arms aren't attached to its body.
- This is because the Skeleton Package has this quirk too.
- Skelly is the first skin to have visible teeth, with the others being Alfis, Kraxicorde, Spidella, Silzous, Fergus, Shardantus, Marley Russell, Jakayla, Anteo, Bakari, and Bela.
- Skelly is the first of many skins to not have a handheld weapon.
- Skelly was removed in the Chinese version of Piggy due to the game being published in Chinese Roblox, as some of the details and words are violating the game laws of Mainland China, such as skulls.
- The Skelly model in the School also got removed.
- Skelly's animations come from MiniToon's SCP game "SCP Containment Breach" from the SCP-008-2 instances.
- Despite skins like Zompiggy and Archie lacking skeletal ears, cheek bone or a visible mouth, Skelly strangely has these features.
- In-game, Skelly floats slightly above the floor for some reason. This applies to Kolie.
- They are one of the many skins to extend their hand(s) out when walking, with the others being Archie, Zompiggy, Alfis, Katie, Kona, Spidella, Mari, Sentinel, Duocara, The Prototype, Lisa, and Moopy.
- Skelly, alongside many other older skins, still has the old glass head material.
