Skins are cosmetic items that Players can wear as Piggy to change their appearance, or use as bot skins in Build Mode. They can be bought from the Shop. Bots usually use skins for their appearance as well.
They can be bought with Piggy Tokens which you can get by escaping as a Player (15 normally, and 30 with the 2x Piggy Tokens gamepass), purchasing them with Robux, capturing players as Piggy or the Traitor (5 normally, and 10 with the 2x Piggy Tokens gamepass, per kill), outliving the traitor or escaping as Traitor (30 normally, and 60 with the 2x Piggy Tokens Gamepasses). They can also be obtained completing quests in game-events.

- Epic_Tank confirmed that other skins, such as Kitty, will not receive a redesign as to remove their long dresses.[1]
- As an effort to distance Piggy's brand from Peppa Pig, some of the skins were redesigned to distinguish from the original characters in Peppa Pig:
- Tigry and Tigry (Uniform) got their heads updated to Tigry's Breakout head design in the 6/16/2024 update.
- The skin's pupil color indicates the personality of the character before they were infected, with a few exceptions (like Robby, as robots can't get infected, and/or have personalities).
- You will need 10505 Piggy Tokens to get all of the purchasable Book 1 skins, 10095 to get all of the purchasable Book 2 skins, 4675 to get all of the purchasable extra skins, and 26275 to get all of the purchasable skins.
- You would have needed 1350 Vials to get Badgy (Alternate) and Anteo.
- You would have needed 1650 Candies to get Crove (Alternate) and Bakari.
- You would have needed 1800 Gifts to get Zizzy (Soldier) and Mr. Bliss.
- You would have needed 1800 Relics to get Kamosi (Alternate) and Gryffyn.

- Mr. P, Silzous, Fergus, Meisery, Decaying Infected, Sam, Rachna, Krampiggy, Mrs. P, Hornz, Vulture, Boris, Percy, and Sterling use the R15 model, meaning they have more joints, more complex animations, and can be changed more than R6.
- Even though Raze is more expensive than Archie, Archie is in front of Raze in the shop ever since Archie’s release.
- Budgey and Torcher have the same error, as Torcher is more expensive than Budgey, but is still behind Budgey.
- The same error happens with Glenn, Fergus, Jakayla, Shardantus, and Marley Russell who all cost 500 but appear after Poley, Mr. Stitchy, Owell, Frostiggy, Primrose, Bess, Gold Piggy, Phenna, Anteo, Laura, Bakari, Sentinel, Mr. Bliss, Gryffyn, and Ombra if any of them have been obtained despite them all being reward skins.
- Sam, Rachna, and Krampiggy would all appear in the front of the Extras instead of at the back, though this was changed after Season 7 ended.
- Anteo, Sentinel, Mr. Bliss, Gryffyn, Meisery, Duocara, Duocara (Mayor), Eelektra (Bot only), Carver, Decaying Infected, Bakari, Mega Tank, Mrs. P, and Nor are the only characters to alter their appearance.
- Mr. P, Robby, Duocara, Duocara (Mayor), The Prototype, Hornz, Vulture, and Nor are the only confirmed uninfected skins.
- ???, Ombra, Jakayla, Marley Russell, Glenn, Fergus, Shardantus, Duocara, Duocara (Mayor), and Eelektra are the only skins with different emote animations than other skins.
- Mother, Memory, Meisery, Carver, Laura, Skelly, Mr. P, Duocara, Duocara (Mayor), Blatt, Ghosty, Robby, Bakari, Sentinel, Ombra, Zompiggy, Torcher, Crove (Aternate), Twins, Bunny (Twilight), The Chained, The Prototype, Sam, Rachna, Gryffyn, Hornz, Vulture, Centrell, Nor, Sparky, and Lisa are the only skins to have no pupils.
- Robby, Bakari, Duocara, Blatt, and The Prototype are the only skins to have no eyes at all, with Robby having sensors, Bakari having an empty eye socket with his other eye being a button, Duocara having markings for eyes, Blatt simply having no eyes, and The Prototype having empty sockets in its head.
- Decaying Infected is randomized, so it has a chance of lacking pupils.
- With the exception of a few skins that have stun animations change the legs, sometimes the legs (or other means of movement) will continue in the walking animation, despite the skin staying in place.
- Little Brother and Father were the only male skins to wear dresses before they were redesigned for the second time.
- Doggy was the first skin in the game to have visible legs.
- Bunny was the first dress skin in the game to have visible legs.
- ??? is currently the largest skin in the game.
- Sparky is the most expensive purchasable skin in the overall game.
- However, Hornz and Vulture were unlocked via a crate that costed 64 million Piggy Tokens. This technically makes them more expensive, but the unconventional manner in which they are obtained makes this unclear.
- Mr. P used to glitch and often fall out the map when equipping him. This was fixed shortly after the Hidden Ending was added.
- Zee and Zuzy are the only characters introduced in Book 1 that only received skins of them in Book 2.
- Twins are the first skin to have to two characters as one skin.
- Grandmother and Zizzy are tied for the first skins in the game with hats.
- Twins and Mrs. P are the only skins to be physically introduced after their NPC counterparts were redesigned, meaning that they technically only have one design.
- Father was the first skin in the game to have glasses and wear an overall accessory.
- Duocara and Laura are the only skins in the game to not attack the player, although the player still dies to their "jumpscares" for gameplay reasons.
- Silzous is the only skin to have two currently used soundtracks. His second soundtrack used to not work due to the Roblox audio update but was fixed.
- Marley Russell was planned to have three themes and have them change upon killing players, just like Silzous, but this was scrapped.
- Piggy, Little Brother, Mother, Father, Grandmother, Sheepy, Doggy, Officer Doggy, Bunny, Gold Piggy, Memory, Angel, Devil, Foxy, Dakoda, Mr. Stitchy, Poley, and Billy all had their themes replaced or changed for various reasons.
- Currently, there are 187 known skins in the game.
- There are 73 skins in the Book 1 section.
- There are 47 skins in the Book 2 section.
- There are 51 skins in the Extras section.
- There are 6 skins in the Community section.
- There are 7 user exclusive skins.
- This count includes 3 additional skins that were each part of an April Fools Update, and have since been removed.
- Some skins have errors when displayed as the equipped skin in the main menu.
- Sheepy (Scientist) has her head at a different angle.
- Zizzy and Mr. Bliss have their limbs going the wrong way.
- Anteo, Sentinel, and Mr. Bliss don't change colors.
- Bakari doesn't go invisible.
- If he gets equipped in the right frame where he disappears in the shop, he will appear invisible.
- Hornz and The Prototype lacks its idle animation.
- Rachna, Krampiggy, and Centrell don't appear at all and the previous skin you had equipped will appear instead.
