The Hand, known as the Chasing Hand in Build Mode, is a character in Piggy: Book 2. It acts as a hostile secondary bot in Breakout. It could also be obtained in Season 5 - Witching Hour as a Build Mode NPC.
Appearance[]
Its appearance is a giant, slender black hand with its fingers open as if it's reaching out to grab something or someone. It's not attached to an arm or any sort of body.
Behavior[]
Breakout[]
The hand appears in two parts of Breakout. One is in the invisible maze, where it will chase Tigry as he tries to get to the end. The other part it appears in is in the classroom puzzle. If Tigry stands on the black squares, the hand will slowly rise up and the only way to make it stop is to get off the square. If Tigry stands on a black square for too long, a purple glow will appear and a purple version of Ombra will spawn, which can kill him.
Build Mode[]
In Build Mode, the Chasing Hand works similarly to how it does in the invisible maze from Breakout, except the Player can customize the location of where it drops you off by placing a Hand Drop Point. There is also a max limit of 5 Hands on a map. It can also chase after infected players and teleport them to the Hand Drop Point aswell, but it doesn't work on bots.
Obtainability[]
Note: You can't enter the season shop and get the NPC because Season 5 - Witching Hour is over.
In order to obtain it, you must have reached level 8 in Season 5 and purchase it for 400 Candies.
Trivia[]
- Even though the hand in the invisible maze is hostile, it won't kill you. Instead, it will grab you, lift you up into the air and you will be teleported to the beginning of the maze.
- The Hand model is a black version of a gear called Acursed Mummy Hand of Head Shot.
- If you stand next to the Chasing Hand in Build Mode before the game starts, it can grab you while the game loads no matter the Player Spawn location, causing you to teleport to the Hand Drop Point.
- People often use this as a trick to make an "owner only spawn".
- If the Chasing Hand is placed in Build Mode without a hand drop point, it will put you at the player spawn.
- The hand noclips through everything, including walls.
- It is the third secondary bot that doesn't kill, the first and second being the Bunny and Doggy memories, and the fourth being Scry.
