The Psycho is a skin in Piggy. They were meant to be released alongside The Malevolent and Doggy (Masked), but got delayed. They instead released alongside The Whisper and Kraxicorde (Red).
Appearance[]
The Psycho is a character ranging from a variety of species and gender[1], but their Ghostface persona uses male pronouns. He wears a black full body cloak with a mask on his face with large eyes and a large open mouth, with two pig nose like dots on its nose area, resembling the painting Scream by Edward Munch. This mask gets more and more aged/withered the more kills he gets. In one hand he holds a voice modulator, and in the other hand a knife.

The faceless murderer is known to make the victim aware of his presence through the phone, eventually making their move by attacking them when they least expect it. It is unclear what their motives are, but some say that they are still lurking, waiting for its next victim."

Walking[]
He walks forward with his knife lifted up, tip pointed down. He sometimes tilts his head lightly.
Jumpscare[]
He lunges forward and stabs the player, knocking them down. They then stab the player again and lifts up their voice modulator, speaking a randomised voiceline.
Stunned[]
They grab their abdomen with their phone hand, eventually they raise their knife back up and attempt to stabs only to be lunged back. This stun animation is roughly 5 seconds long, compared to other start-and-end stun animations.

- They are one of the few Piggy characters to be based on a movie character.
- So far, The Psycho is the only community-made skin with one contributor.
- BrandonGaimingT1 made a model of them doing the “wazzup” face from the movie Scary Movie, which heavily parodies Scream.[2] His creator also intended for this to be in-game though this never ended up happening.
- They are the second skin to have a voiceline/s, the first being Silzous and the third being Dmitry.
- They share their jumpscare sound with Carver, Duocara, his mayor variant and the Bones Trap skeleton. They also share their stab sound with Beary and Soldier.
- They were released on the same day as the release of Scream 7's official trailer.
- He was originally planned to have a slightly different information in his shop icon which reads as “An unidentified masked killer by the name of”The Psycho” was infamously lurking in the city of Lucella. This faceless ghoul murdered many innocent people, mainly students of the Lucella High school. It is unclear what their inspirations are and why they are doing this. One of the last murders happened in the Lucella Gallery, where it was closed of investigation. Rumors spread that the killer might still be on the lose, but you know, that’s just a theory”.
- They are one of the few R15 skins whose walk animation doesn’t slow down while moving slower.
- Their voice is based on Roger Jackson, who voiced Ghostface in the movies.
- Each time Psycho gets a kill, blood splatters on his mask. The blood on The Psycho mask is colored grey, likely due to Piggy not allowing realistic blood despite Marley Russell having visible blood.
- According to his creator, he wasn’t originally planned to stab the player the second time.
- He has a few scrapped line when killing a player, those being “Presto, you’re dead!” and “Chu-Chu-Chu, Ha-Ha-Ha”. Some of his current lines when killing a player was planned to have slightly different wording, those being “I could do this all day” and “I live catching my prey”.
- The second scrapped line is a reference to Jason Voorhees’s catchphrase, which is essentially an alternate variation of “ki ki ma ma” which is ironically interpolated in Doggy (Masked) soundtrack.
- Typing /e point in chat will make Psycho wipe off his blade using his opposite hand. This emote is a reference to Ghostface's iconic knife wipe.
- He is one of the few uninfected skins in the game.
- When Psycho holds his abdomen during his stun animation, it could be a reference to Stu Macher holding his abdomen after being stabbed by Billy Loomis.
- Their footsteps, considered one of the loudest in the game, is shared with Sam, Boris, Percy and Sterling.
- The line "So, what's your favorite chapter?" is a reference to the iconic line "What's your favorite scary movie?".
