"... They are the Silver Paw. When the infection broke out, I needed to find a group."
Pony, Store - Chapter 2

The Silver Paw, often abbreviated as T.S.P., is a group of survivors. They are unseen antagonists in Piggy: Book 1 and the main antagonistic faction of the first half of Piggy: Book 2, but then turn into a deuteragonist group afterwards.

The Silver Paw at the Safe Place

The Silver Paw at the Safe Place (Without Tigry)

Overview[]

Their group is viewed as antagonists from Carnival - Chapter 8 (Book 1), and while that was the case at first (since the group was using the infection to their advantage and were getting revenge on people that wronged them), it turns out that they're not fully malicious. The group took control of an oil refinery, which they converted into a shelter for survivors. They provided food, clothes, and clean living facilities for the survivors, and are not actually as bad as they seem.

After Pony and Player infiltrated the Refinery to save Zizzy (whom the TSP had captured), the Refinery was then destroyed by an almost-infected Zizzy. To get Pony and Player back for infiltrating their base, they retaliated by taking over The Safe Place and imprisoning its members at the Factory (aside from Zee and Zuzy).

When The Safe Place members broke free, the TSP members were found to be trapped and endangered around the Factory. If the Player doesn't save anyone, then the leader of the TSP, Willow, will shoot them down. If the Player saves the members during the events of Factory, the TSP will reconcile with the Player's group, and take in & take care of an injured Giraffy; they will be joined by Mimi if the Player doesn't save all of them. Two of their members, Willow and Tigry, go on to play a major role in the rest of Book 2's chapters, while the rest of the members stay with Giraffy (and Mimi if you're playing on the Survivor Route).

History[]

Early Days[]

The Silver Paw was founded by Willow shortly after the infection. The first to be recruited were Tigry and Pony. Over time, more members joined in: Baren, Pandy, Felix, Filip, Kitty, Katie, and Foxy. Later on, The Silver Paw took control of multiple abandoned workspaces such as the Lucella Oil Refinery. These bases came to be known as settlements, which had the purpose of aiding and protect survivors, as well as to serve as their base of operations. After they're finished setting up their settlements, T.S.P. started scavenging all over Evalia to find supplies.

Infecting Doggy[]

At some point in the story, before the events of the Forest - Chapter 4, Willow and her group got their hands on a Substance - 128 sample at the hospital, and forced Pony to infect the Player and Doggy with the samples in the Forest. However, the Player was unaffected by the potion because they are immune to the virus.

Shortly after that, Pony broke off from the team after feeling regret and guilt from the prior events and eventually joined The Safe Place. This made Willow consider him a traitor, and was no longer considered an ally to The Silver Paw. It is also implied that The Silver Paw locked Foxy inside the cage of Carnival to get infected, most likely because he was being disobedient.

The Safe Place vs. The Silver Paw[]

Later, when the Safe Place members get the radio working, they make contact with someone who introduces themselves as "Settlement Six", stating that they are looking for someone to trade with and that the Safe Place members should meet them at the Old Oak. This, however, turns out to be a ruse of The Silver Paw, which ends with Willow ordering her gang to take Zizzy away as Pony and the Player watch helplessly.

Despite this, Pony and the Player then infiltrate the Refinery while being chased by a T.S.P. member named Tigry. They manage to open Zizzy's cell, whereupon they witness her knocking out an infected named Poley. Unfortunately, they discover that Zizzy was scratched by Poley and that she will get infected, forcing them to leave her at the Refinery. Zizzy then makes a distraction to make it easier for the Player and Pony to escape, resulting with multiple survivors having to be relocated from Settlement Six. Willow hears about the hassle, and orchestrates a plan to capture The Safe Place.

Members of The Silver Paw write graffiti on the walls in the Sewers located below the Factory, with art reading things such as "It spreads" and "T.S.P". Willow, alongside some of her more trusted members, raid the Safe Place as revenge for the destruction of Refinery. Baren shoots the Safe Place with the bazooka, forcing the building's residents to come out, whereupon they capture them.

The Showdown[]

The members are brought to a cell at the Factory where they are left until they "either cooperate or wear out". After the Safe Place members get out of their cell thanks to Zee and Zuzy, Tigry notices them and tries to throw one of his daggers at them, but doesn't do it because he believed it is not worth it. Willow arrives, and after calling Tigry useless, shoots at Pony, only for Giraffy to jump in front of the bullet.

Willow gives the Player and Pony a headstart to get out of the Factory. Some time before their conversation, an unknown person traps all of the other members (other than Willow and Tigry). If the Player decides to rescue some or all of the The Silver Paw members, Willow confesses about her past, and the groups begin to work together: Willow helps The Safe Place to get the cure, and the rest of the The Silver Paw members stay behind, helping with Giraffy's wound (if not all of the members are saved, then Mimi will stay behind with them; if all the members are saved, then Mimi will go with The Safe Place & Willow).

Willow and Tigry[]

After the events of Factory, Willow and Tigry informally break-off from the group. It is currently determinant whether or not they have cut ties with the TSP. Willow goes on to aid The Safe Place (not including Giraffy) in their search for the cure, and travels with them through the events of Port, Ship, Docks, Temple, Camp and Lab. On the other hand, Tigry goes off on his own to search for the cure by himself; he is mentioned in Port, and the Player later comes across him in Docks, Camp, and Lab.

In Port, Willow informs the Player that Tigry has taken her boat, and so the group uses the lighthouse to signal a ship to get across the sea. In Ship, Willow acts as a deuteragonist, taking an active role of knocking out the infected as Player retrieves the fuel from the hull of the Medora. She and the Player end up trapped in a shipping container with the fuel, and have a heart-to-heart conversation before the others find them. Using her newly refueled ship, Budgey then takes the group across the sea. They end up at the Docks, wherein Tigry's boat is spotted by Willow, although he himself is not present until the Player exits the Docks.

Upon meeting them, Tigry tries to convince the Player to join him and leave Willow; however, he is not successful (despite Pony fully agreeing to join him). Alongside the others, Willow trudges in the snow before taking shelter in Kona's lab. She waits upstairs with the others while the Player and Robby head into the Temple to clear the way, and meets with the group above ground when the temple is cleared. In Camp, Willow knocks out the infected alongside Pony as the Player turns on the elevator to go into the outpost's lab.

Once the elevator is operable, Willow heads down with the rest of the group. The group decides to split up, and she comes across Tigry, who is placing dynamite (it turns out he had been placing numerous sticks of dynamite around before Willow showed up). Tigry & Willow battle, but before Willow is able to choke the life out of Tigry, they get interrupted by explosions from within the lab. The explosions cause rubble to fall, cutting the Player off from both Willow and Tigry. Finally, in Lab, what happens to Willow and Tigry depends on the Player's actions (which continuity they chose from Factory, and who they help during Willow & Tirgy's second battle). In the Hidden Ending, however, Tigry and Willow make up and travel together.

Uniforms[]

The Silver Paw members, excluding their leader, Willow, wear a specific uniform, which is mostly gray and black in color. Female members wear a gray dress, gray beret, black leggings and black gloves. Male members, on the other hand, wear gray, sleeveless shirt, gray beret, black pants and black bands around their wrists. The only exceptions to this rule are Tigry (who doesn't appear to wear bands and has a black beret) and Pony (who also wears a dark gray jacket). Foxy doesn't wear a uniform at all, instead sporting a black hoodie with blue pants.

Signed Notes[]

  • "Doggy and Foxy got what was coming to them. -T.S.P." Carnival, in a pink stall near where the water gun is used to get the key code to escape. This must have been written during or after the events of Forest.
  • "DO NOT OPEN, MONSTER INSIDE. -T.S.P." Carnival, just outside of the door to Foxy's cage.
  • "To those looking for safety: this is the worst place to look. -T.S.P." Carnival, lying just outside the entrance.
  • "We need to start recruiting soon. I'll start with my closest friends." City, in a filing cabinet in Elly Enterprises' first floor.
  • "They've got what we want at the hospital. We get what we need, then we leave. -T.S.P." City, in a filing cabinet in Elly's Enterprises' second floor.
  • "We can take advantage of the situation ongoing right now. Thanks, Mr. P! - T.S.P." Mall, under a bench in the bank vault room.
  • "DEAR MEMBERS, THIS PLACE IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN. If you are caught down here you will be relocated. This is not a hangout spot. - T.S.P." Sewers, on a shelf on the tower above the sewer water.

Unconfirmed Mysteries[]

  • An infected Poley is seen in the cell with Zizzy. It is unknown why he is there, but the reason is probably revenge by Willow. In the Heist chapter, Poley is seen chasing Willow and her gang in the very early stages of The Silver Paw. He was then infected at the Station and was probably captured by Willow and used as a weapon for prisoners at the Refinery.
  • 'Don't trust the SI-' was most likely the most famous and mysterious note in Book 1. It is found in the mall under a cabinet. It was half shown, with only a few letters sticking out. Although still unconfirmed, it presumably talked about The Silver Paw.
  • There are confirmed other settlements beyond Lucella, although these are not shown.

Trivia[]

  • In RGB, the color of the hat worn by most The Silver Paw members is 91, 93, 105.
    • This is also the color of their uniforms.
  • The Silver Paw was originally one of the game's biggest mysteries, with countless theories guessing its true identity, such as The Super Potato, or even The Safe Place itself.
  • IK3As jokingly gave a hint on who The Silver Paw was on Twitter, but she said it was filtered by Roblox.
  • There was an unknown game regarding to The Silver Paw, which was built by mostly IK3As, but was published on her alt, called No Significant Harassment.
  • The Silver Paw acronym also stands for The Safe Place, which are coincidentally The Silver Paw's former enemies.
  • Baren and Filip are the only members of The Silver Paw without a skin as of now.
  • Even though Filip and Felix are simply recolored versions of Kitty and Katie, they are not cats. They are a coyote and a fox respectively. It is unknown if they will receive a remodel in order to differentiate their appearance from a cat and look more similar to their real-life counterparts.
  • Despite being a Silver Paw member, Foxy was never shown wearing his uniform.
  • Many people thought that Rash was a Silver Paw member, but this is false, since he got infected before The Silver Paw was formed.
  • Some of the members will probably have an important role in Intercity.
  • Interestingly, Pony is the only member of the Silver Paw who is not from the order of animals called Carnivora.
  • On his Twitter, TenuousFlea said that MiniToon originally planned to make Billy one of the guards in the Refinery. However, since TenuousFlea didn't see MiniToon's message about it on time due to his time zone, the idea was scrapped.
  • The Silver Paw members were one of the options on a poll ran by MiniToon where he asked which characters the community would like to see more story of, with the other options being Bunny, Mimi and Giraffy, and Zizzy and her sisters.[2]
