The Silver Paw is a group in the Piggy novels, being a stand-in for The Silver Paw in the main games. They make their first appearance in PIGGY: Infected.

Overview[]

The Silver Paw's main location is where the Safe Place appears in the main game, being an abandoned hotel. It is believed that this hotel contains the same rooms as the Safe Place does normally.

History[]

PIGGY: Infected[]

At some point during the infections start, Willow was freed from the Station, and escaped. She was able to find a nearby abandoned hotel and start up a safe place there, creating the Silver Paw. She found Badgy and Billy at some point and welcomed them into her Safe Place, along other members. At some point, during a supply run, Badgy and Billy found Ben at a carnival, and brought him back, along with later finding Ollie. After signing in, Willow explains to the two that the Safe Place is known as the Silver Paw.

PIGGY: The Cure[]

In PIGGY: The Cure, the Silver Paw does not have a major role. Willow does appear via radio to to check in on the main group, although no members aside from the main four appear.

PIGGY: Traitor[]

Although the Silver Paw isn't seen in Traitor, there are various mentions of the legendary "Safe Place" located in the middle of the city. By the end of the book, Diego Alvarez and his group of survivors manage to break into a hotel which is believed to be the Silver Paw, as it is mentioned that guards are in the building, described similarly to the bots in Refinery.

The Silver Paw members in the novels parallel certain characters in the main game.
- Ben is a parallel to the Player.
- Ollie is a parallel to Georgie.
- Billy is a parallel to Pony.
- Badgy is a parallel to Zizzy.
- Badgy's younger siblings are parallels to Zee and Zuzy.
- Willow is a parallel to herself.
- Felix is a parallel to himself.
- Pandy is a parallel to herself.
- Kitty is a parallel to herself.
It is unknown if characters like Zizzy and Pony exist in this universe due to other characters replacing them.
Ironically, the Silver Paw is a stand-in for The Safe Place, despite them being enemies in the first half of Piggy: Book 2.
