The Tombstone Trap is an event-exclusive trap in Piggy. It was added for the Spooky Hunt and was available from October 17th, 2020 to December 20th, 2020.
Appearance[]
The Tombstone Trap is a regular tombstone. It has a gray gravestone with a curved top, and dark lines (which are supposedly words) on the gravestone, and brown balls of dirt surround the gravestone.
Usage[]
When activated, the trap spawns a Zompiggy bot for 15 seconds, which can perform the basic bot functions like following and then killing players. However, they walk at a slower pace unless shot by the gun.
Obtainability[]
Note: The obtainability will not work as the Spooky Hunt is over.
This could be obtained in Alleys. You have to find parts of Skelly to reconstruct it. These parts are scattered all over the map. Once you have found a bone, click on it. In a corner of Alleys, Skelly can be seen, and if you have found all the bones it will be fully constructed, with one skeleton arm extended for the rose. After all parts are found, you have to click the rose found in the red key room with the water, with the rose found on one of the plants. Go to the Skelly in the corner of the map and click on it's right hand to give it the rose. You will hear a "Cha-Ching" sound and receive the trap.
Trivia[]
- This is the first limited-time trap in the game, with the second being the Snowpiggy Trap, and the third being the Inflatable Trap.
- Its name and picture have a yellow outline, just like Poley, Frostiggy, Primrose, Mr. Stitchy, Phenna and much more quest skins indicating it is a special reward item.
- The one second effect time is the time for the Zompiggy to spawn. The Zompiggy itself lasts much longer.
- This is the only trap to spawn an NPC.
- This trap has the shortest effect time, being only a single second.
- This is the first trap that has been added after the Book 2 update.
- Not only can players activate the trap, it can be also be activated by NPCs such as Soldier's in Outpost - Chapter 11.
- When placed by the Traitor and activated, the Zompiggy NPCs are unable to harm the traitor.
- This trap lacks a distancing system, allowing the possibility to place two of them extremely close to each other without restrictions and even right on each other. This was also how the Default Trap worked until it was changed in Gallery - Chapter 3.
- This is the first and only trap that can potentially kill a player.
- Sometimes, if you place a Tombstone Trap next to a wall, Zompiggy will be stuck.
- If you stun the Zompiggy bot from a Tombstone Trap, they will infinitely chase you until they kill you or the round ends.
- It shares its placing noise with the Inflatable Trap.
- This is one of the only traps to have effect on survivors who haven't stepped on the trap themselves. The others being Snowpiggy Trap, Inflatable Trap, and Black Hole Trap.
- The Zompiggy bot can attack Pony in Docks - Chapter 9 if Pony sees it.
