The Torch is a progression item in Piggy and has two states: unlit and lit. It makes appearances in Forest - Chapter 4, Plant - Chapter 12 and Distorted Holiday
Usage[]
Forest - Chapter 4[]
Used in the cave to melt the ice block for the white key. During the Spooky Hunt, it could have also been used to light the collected candles at the Piggy spawn platform. This was needed to obtain the Mr. Stitchy skin.
Plant - Chapter 12[]
In second phase, the lit torch is used to melt ice in the Forest segment of the map to earn the white key for the safe in the School segment.
Distorted Holiday[]
Three are used to light Sam on fire to escape Distorted Holiday.
Locations[]
Forest - Chapter 4[]
Can be found either:
- In the Orange Key area.
- Near the boarded cave.
To light it, it must be placed in the campfire at the player spawn point.
Plant - Chapter 12[]
Can be found either:
It comes already lit.
Distorted Holiday[]
Three Torches appear in the map:
- On a bench in the maze.
- Inside the Yellow Locked Chest.
- Downstairs in the snow fort.
The Torches will need to be lit by the campfire in the Black Key room.
Trivia[]
- The torch can be used as a light source in Forest and Plant. However, this is only something you could need it for in Forest since it is very dark. The Plant is already lit by other sources.
- Some believed that it looked like a rusty nail before Forest - Chapter 4 was released.
- The Distorted Holiday chapter has the Torch lit up in a blue flame, instead of the usual yellowish-orange flame.
