Wei-Min (Simplified Chinese: 伟民) is a skin in Piggy. She was added in the first 2025 Community Skins update along with GUESTY. She was designed by Wasabii16, AmbiteAmulite, and noirewashere.

Appearance

She is a brown furred wolverine with a purple dress with yellow accents similar to the clothes worn in the Qing Dynasty, and a pink strap around her waist, with black sides on the dress from the waist down. She also wears a hat with a purple brim and a pink top and a yellow bobble, and with it a fulu attached to the front with the Chinese word for it (Traditional Chinese: 符籙) written on it. She also has white eyes and long white claws.

The butterfly, Ruddie, has a black central body and pink wings.

Information

Animations

Idle

She stands still and has her claws in front of her, slightly slouched over. Her butterfly, Ruddie, flies around. In response, she tries to catch him with her claws but fails.

Walking

She walks forward with her claws held out in front of her. Ruddie, in a fixed position, flies forward.

Jumpscare

Ruddie flies in front of the player before quickly flying out of the way as Wei-Min slashes them with both of her claws before impaling the player with them. The player then falls to the ground.

Stunned

Her eyes go black and she falls to the ground. Her tag falls off of her hat. Ruddie lands on her torso and stays there for a few seconds before getting the tag and putting it back on her hat. Wei-Min then twitches awake and gets up, ending the stun animation.

Dance 1

Claps twice, then briefly tilts to the sides. Follows with hands near face around her neck where she cocks her head to the right. Spreads her arms back out and briefly steps while moving arms and finishes with putting her hands to her forehead.

• She is around 23 to 25 years old, as stated by Wasabii16.
• This is the second Chinese-themed skin implemented into the game, the first being Jakayla.
• Her name translates to “for the people” in Chinese.
• She is the third skin contributed to by noirewashere, the first being Marley Russell and the second being Sparky.
  • Unlike them however, she wasn’t modelled by Russell0207.
• She is the fourth mustelid in the game. The others include Badgy and the otter and badger power plant workers.
• Her design is based on the Jiangshi, a type of Chinese vampire creature within folklore, which is also popular across Japan, Korea, and Taiwan, the latter of where her creator was born.
• Noirewashere described Wei-Min’s soundtrack as “Forever chasing butterflies in the dead of night” in her description.
• As confirmed by her creator, she is a lesbian. This makes her one of the few skins to be a part of the LGBTQ+ community.
• The butterfly that accompanies her is named Ruddie. He is the first non-anthropomorphic animal in the game.
  • She hates him because the sound of wings flapping annoys her.
• Wei-Min's dance is based off the dance done by vocal synth Kasane Teto in the music video for BIRDBRAIN by Jamie Paige.
  • She is the second skin to have an emote referencing a vocal synth music video, with the first being Spidella, who references Static by Flavor Foley.
    • Funnily enough, the creator of Wei-Min ships her with Spidella.
• Wei-Min's jumpscare was inspired from the character Peacemaker's "Goff" brutality from Mortal Kombat 1. Interestingly, Ruddie was inspired by Goff, a miniscule butterfly who serves as the main villain of Peacemaker’s first season.
• Her favorite food is Xiaolongbao.
• It was stated she was delayed when the community skins update came out due to the soundtrack not being ready. However, she released a few minutes later with a placeholder soundtrack.
• The name of her soundtrack roughly translates to ‘ghost butterfly’ in english.
• Despite being a Chinese skin, her soundtrack contains a lot of Japanese traditional instruments. According to Noirewashere, this was because the creator hasn’t clarified if Wei-Min was Chinese.
• Her arms have collision on, which may cause problems while moving. For example, she has issues with getting out of water in Build Mode.
  • Her arms collision also causes problems if moving during her jumpscare animation, which is possible due to its length.
• She is the second skin to be able to move during a portion of its jumpscare animation, likely due to length with the first being Glenn and the third being The Whisper.
• She is the only skin that uses the default footstep sound without the pitch lowering.
• Wei-Min's stun animation shares a similar premise to the stun animations for Bunny (Twilight) and Sheepy (Twilight), where all three fall to the floor and are brought back up by another being.
  • Wei-Min is the only one of the three without a separate animation for using the Teleporter, causing movement issues following teleportation.
• Wei-Min is one of the few R15 skins whose walking animation doesn’t slow down when walking slower.

Sounds

• Her soundtrack is 幽霊の蝶 by Noirewashere. Her first temporary placeholder soundtrack was Horror Pantomime by Rupert Christie, but slowed down by 0.5, before being changed to this.
  • The origin of her temporary soundtrack was a classic Roblox song called Positively Dark - Awakening, it can be listened to here at its original pitch.
• Her jumpscare origin is the Town Zombie Call from Half-Life 2.
