"William's been so upset lately, he won't even talk to me. I don't know what to do."
― Willow talking about William, Heist
William is a character in Piggy: Book 2 who makes his first on-screen appearance in Willow’s flashback of the Survivor and Savior endings in Factory - Chapter 6, and then returns in the Piggy: Book 2 Credits. Additionally, he is mentioned in Heist, Alleys and Sewers. He is Willow's younger brother and Daisy's foster child. When his parents were arrested, Daisy adopted him and looked after him until she was ordered to join the military. Not coming to terms with Daisy's departure, William eventually abandoned Willow, leaving only his scarf behind, which Willow wore thereafter.
Physical Appearance[]
William is a small wolf with a white face, gray cheeks, black nose, pronounced fur on top and sides of his head, and pentagon-shaped ears with white inside. He wears a blue jacket over a maroon shirt with navy blue pants, along with his signature black scarf.
History[]
Arrested Parents[]
William is a wolf who lived in the alleys of Lucella with his parents and an older sister named Willow. However, his parents did crimes, and it wasn't long until they were discovered. After William's parents were taken away by two unidentified officers from the Lucella Police Department, he, alongside his sister, were forced to fend for themselves.
Daisy Fostering[]
Sometime later, their neighbor, a TV shop owner named Daisy, finds them inside their home and temporarily fosters them. William forms a strong bond with Daisy and looks to her as a mother figure. Daisy nurtures William and Willow for a period of time, and they are happy with her. Eventually, Daisy is called to the military and forced to leave William and Willow. William begs for her not to leave, but she cannot stay, and she departs. Before she leaves, Daisy writes a note to Willow to take care of William while she is absent, promising that she will be back soon, but this never happens.
William's Anger[]
William becomes stubborn and angry, and Willow finds it very hard to look after him. He won't listen to her, nor do what she asks, still mourning over Daisy's departure. One night, Willow tells her friends Pony, Billy, and Rash about William's behavior and that she doesn't know what to do. Billy suggests they go steal him something nice. Everyone agrees except for Pony, who suggests they buy him something instead. However, Willow reminds him that they're broke, whereupon Pony begrudgingly agrees to steal.
Willow, Pony, Billy, and Rash start a heist but are discovered by officer Poley, who chases them around to arrest them. Despite this, the team still manages to complete the heist by stealing a pie from a warehouse named Baba's Pies. Willow comes back to her home, closes her eyes, and talks to William and how she brought him a pie to cheer him up, but when she gets no response, she opens her eyes and sees William's scarf on the floor, with William nowhere to be seen. Willow is heartbroken and hugs his scarf, which she wears thereafter to keep the memory of her brother alive.
Locating William[]
For many years, Willow searches for William but is unable to find him. After forming her group, The Silver Paw, she intercepts a message saying that the military is developing a cure. She keeps this to herself, hoping she will be able to steal it one day and cure William if he is infected. After the factory incident, Willow shares her secret with the Safe Place and the rest of The Silver Paw. She finally admits that William is likely dead or infected and decides to help the Safe Place locate Outpost Echo and cure the infected Zizzy.
