XP

XP, or experience points, is a mechanic in both Piggy and the Piggy: Intercity Demo. XP can be earned by doing certain tasks, allowing the player to level up when they reach sufficient XP. In Piggy, XP was exclusively for Seasons 1-6, while Intercity's XP and level system is primarily for the item shop.

Earning XP

Piggy

• Use an item - 10 XP (Note: Giving an NPC an item to knock out Piggy will not reward XP)
• Escape a map - 100 XP.

Piggy: Intercity

In Piggy: Intercity, XP can be earned by killing infecteds or other players. Each kill grants 2 XP and the XP per level gradually increases.

Season Levels

Season levels are a mechanic in Piggy. It goes up to 10 for Season 1 and 11 for the rest. Here's a list of the amount of XP you need for each level. (Please note that the XP resets every time you level up.)

Season 1

• Level 1 - 120 XP
• Level 2 - 180 XP
• Level 3 - 225 XP
• Level 4 - 310 XP
• Level 5 - 425 XP
• Level 6 - 580 XP
• Level 7 - 790 XP
• Level 8 - 1080 XP
• Level 9 - 1465 XP
• Level 10 (Same as level 9, however you can't get any higher levels because it's the highest level)

Season 2 + Season 3

• Level 1 - 150 XP
• Level 2 - 190 XP
• Level 3 - 250 XP
• Level 4 - 310 XP
• Level 5 - 400 XP
• Level 6 - 500 XP
• Level 7 - 650 XP
• Level 8 - 815 XP
• Level 9 - 1030 XP
• Level 10 - 1465 XP
• Level 11 (Same as level 10, however you can't get any higher levels because it's the highest level)

Season 4 - Season 6

• Level 1 - 120 XP
• Level 2 - 150 XP
• Level 3 - 190 XP
• Level 4 - 250 XP
• Level 5 - 400 XP
• Level 6 - 500 XP
• Level 7 - 650 XP
• Level 8 - 815 XP
• Level 9 - 1030 XP
• Level 10 - 1465 XP
• Level 11 (Same as level 10, however you can't get any higher levels because it's the highest level)

Trivia

• There was a glitch that occurred where when players (as Piggy) kill survivors, they would earn their 20 XP, but seconds later, there would be many pop-up messages saying that they've earned XP, and it would add on to their current level, possibly letting them jump a few levels forward.
• Killing a decoy created by survivors would give you 20 XP.
  • This was a bug that most likely occurred as the game count the decoy as a player, which will grant the infected player 20 XP for killing one, it has now been fixed, though.
• The suggested map for farming XP during seasons is Gallery. If you grab and use all of the items (exept for the bones as they don't grant XP when being used) you can earn 150 XP and if you escape you earn an additional 100 XP adding up to 250 XP per round.
• You needed a total of 5175 XP to claim all of the rewards in Season 1 - Mr. P's Lab.
• You needed a total of 5760 XP to claim all of the rewards in Season 2 - The Haunting.
  • This is the same amount of XP you needed for Season 3 - Holiday Hustle.
• You needed a total of 5570 XP to claim all of the rewards in Season 4 - Expectant Exploration.
  • This is the same amount of XP you needed for Season 5 - Witching Hour, and Season 6 - Whistling Winter.
• You were once able to earn XP by killing survivors as the Piggy/Traitor. This was removed after a glitch was found allowing players to infinitely farm tokens/XP.
  • This glitch has since been fixed.
• Season 7 is the only season to not feature XP in it.
