Zizzy is one of the four overarching protagonists (alongside Doggy, Bunny, and Pony) of Piggy, serving as the tritagonist of the second half of Book 1, the tritagonist of the first half of Book 2, the main protagonist of Distraction and only being mentioned (or appearing as a hallucination) in the second half.
She was a former fencing coach who taught her two younger sisters, Zee and Zuzy. She later met up with Pony during the Infection and started a group of survivors called The Safe Place. She and Pony went on many supply runs and met the Player when they were going to the Carnival. She was later captured by The Silver Paw, who brought her to a cell in the Refinery for supposed questioning, but was actually pitted against lots of the infected. When Pony and the Player break into the Refinery to save her, she realizes she got scratched by one of the infected and stays in the Refinery to create a distraction so Pony and the Player could escape. This event is the focus of Distraction chapter, which focuses on Zizzy. In the Hidden Ending, she appears cured with the rest of The Safe Place members in Kona's home.
Appearance
Zizzy is a white zebra with a snout, a reddish-brown oval-shaped nose, dark brown nostrils and five horizontal, black stripes on her head. She wears a magenta dress, bright violet leggings, and a purple musketeer hat adorned with two long, pink feathers. She has a single, horizontal, black stripe on her left wrist and wields a fencing foil.
Her old design is the same as her current design, except that she has pink cheeks and her nose is also pink with dark pink nostrils.
In this chapter, Zizzy's dress is cocoa-colored, while her leggings and hat are are maroon.
History
Early Life
As a child, Zizzy used to live in Evalia with her younger twin sisters Zee and Zuzy. She was also childhood friends with Pony.
Halloween at Eddy's Mansion
On a Halloween night, after running away from Zizzy and Pony's watch, Zuzy convinces Zee to sneak into old man Eddy's mansion with her in order to "see if the rumors are true", the rumors being that Eddy can turn people into toys. She also says that if Zee will not come with her, she will go alone. Once they get into the mansion, they come face to face with a robot called Duocara that tries to get them out of the mansion. After restoring power to the mansion, the two zebras escape, only to find Zizzy at the gate, who scolds them for leaving. Zuzy tries to frame Zee, saying that it was all her idea, but Zizzy doesn't believe her. All of a sudden, Eddy comes, causing Zuzy to freak out and beg him not to turn them into toys. As Eddy asks her what she is talking about, Zizzy apologizes to Eddy for letting the twins run loose into his mansion. Zuzy then apologizes as well but tries for the second time to frame Zee as the one who came up with the idea. Eddy accepts the apology and tells the girls that he hopes they learned their lesson and that they won't break into people's homes without permission ever again. Then, the four part ways. Zizzy asks where Pony is, as he was supposed to be looking after them too, only to see him rise out of a bush, exclaiming that he found candy. Zizzy then says that she seems to have to watch over not just Zee and Zuzy, but Pony as well. She then says if anyone is up for some trick-or-treat, and they walk away, ignoring Pony who's still stuck in the bush and is asking for help.
Pre-Infection
Before the infection, Zizzy was a coach that taught fencing. She trained her younger sisters as well. It is unknown what happened to her parents when the infection broke out , but she took her sisters with her to find safety, which they found in the Safe Place. At some point Pony distanced himself from Zizzy finding himself in bad company. Four weeks after the start of the infection, Pony abandons The Silver Paw and reconciles with Zizzy after he was forced by Willow, his erstwhile friend and leader, to infect an officer named Doggy and another police officer in the forest. Pony and Zizzy went on many supply runs together, eventually finding two new survivors, Mimi and Giraffy, who they brought to the Safe Place.
The Search for Survivors
One night, Zizzy and Pony temporarily leave The Safe Place to look for more survivors who may have avoided the infection. Their destination happens to be at a carnival outside of the city that was previously owned by former billionaire, Mr. P. The two enter through a hole in the back wall of the carnival, where they meet the Detective that Pony infected in the forest. The latter obviously thinks that they are infected, but Zizzy says that the infected can't talk. Zizzy introduces herself and Pony, and the detective does the same, then asks what they're doing here. Zizzy explains how they are looking for survivors to take to their Safe Place. As they talk, Pony notices Foxy creeping behind the Player and thinks he's the Player's friend, but when Zizzy says that Foxy is infected, Pony acts quickly, and knocks him out with his wooden sword. Zizzy then points out that it's not safe to stay at the carnival, and the trio returns to the city.
Mission to the Safe Place
Once the trio return to the City, Pony points out a tall, blue, hotel to the Detective, stating that it is The Safe Place, and Zizzy says there are other people inside who will be surprised to meet them. Unfortunately, the trio are forced to unlock the gate leading to the building, all the while being chased by two infected, however, they manage to find all the materials needed to get it open. On their way in, Zizzy asks the Detective about why they were at the carnival of all places. They explain that they were a police officer looking for someone. Zizzy reveals that she was a fencing coach who taught her little sisters, and she is glad they are safe inside the Safe Place. Pony says that he was trying to become an optometrist like his father. The Detective also mentions Mr. P and that he's the one responsible for starting the infection. As Zizzy invites the Detective to the Safe Place so that they can help them look for him, They all hear a noise from a dumpster. Zizzy and the Player go to investigate while Pony stays behind.
Meeting Georgie
The two chase the mysterious figure to a mall, and enter to look for them. After getting the barricaded door on the second floor open, while also fleeing from a malfunctioning robot, the two meet Georgie Piggy. The Detective says he was the person they were looking for, and they ask Georgie why he ran. Georgie says that after his entire family started acting strange, he came to the city to hide. Zizzy decides to bring Georgie back to the Safe Place, and once they return, Zizzy greets her sisters. Pony informs them that he found a helicopter signal nearby. Zizzy promises her sisters she will come back, and leaves with the Detective and Pony.
Defeating Mr. P
The trio track Mr. P to an Outpost and go inside. While the Detective gets the power plant's entrance opened, Zizzy fends off the many infected soldiers coming out of holes in the ground. Once the plant gate is opened, the trio prepares for the fight against Mr. P, but it is revealed that Georgie has followed them, and that he wants to see the person who hurt his family. Zizzy tells the Player to take Georgie with them inside, and she and Pony stay outside to fight the crowd of infected soldiers that Georgie unintentionally attracted. Pony starts telling Zizzy something, but Zizzy shushes him, saying she already knows. At the end of the Good and True Endings, Georgie and the Player meet back with Zizzy and Pony, as they knock the last of the infected soldiers out. Zizzy tells them that she's proud that they could make it. After a small pause, Georgie suggests that they should start looking for a cure.
Supply Run
Time passes by after the battle at the outpost, and now Zizzy and Pony are preparing to leave to fetch some batteries for a radio Mimi found in one of their supply runs. Zizzy and Pony ask the Detective if they want to also come, and they accept. Once they enter the store in their look for batteries, they are ambushed by an infected deer. After the Detective gives Zizzy both batteries, they leave and return to the City. Mimi manages to turn the radio on and contacts an unfamiliar voice, which tells her that they are Settlement Six and they are looking for communities to trade with. They suggest meeting at the Old Oak. After losing the signal, Mimi and Giraffy suggest meeting up with them, as they haven't seen any survivors for months. Pony disagrees and tells them that meeting up with complete strangers is not a good idea. Zizzy then says that she agrees with Pony, but that they should also check it out, as she thinks that they can handle themselves. When the Detective agrees, Pony does too. In the end, Zizzy, Pony and the Player decide to go there. However, the meeting does not go well, as they encounter The Silver Paw, as well as their leader, Willow. Willow reveals that Pony was an ex-member of The Silver Paw and remembers the Player as the police officer who took her away from her family. She doesn't recognize Zizzy, but Zizzy says she knows all about The Silver Paw. Willow reasons that Pony must have told her the truth. Willow then decides to kidnap Zizzy and take her for questioning. Pony is worried, but Zizzy assures him she'll be safe and leaves with the group.
Rescue Attempt
Willow, and four other T.S.P. members take Zizzy to their base, which is an oil refinery, and they lock her up in an old storage room. The room is guarded by another T.S.P. member, and there is an infected inside that Zizzy has to fight. As Zizzy knocks out Poley, she turns to see Pony and the Detective at the unlocked door. She tells them she is glad to see them, and that she has been fighting the infected all day and even started enjoying it. Pony and the Player want to leave quickly, but Zizzy suddenly says that she has "pulled a muscle". As she looks at her right arm, she realizes that Poley scratched her. She tells the Player and Pony to leave her. Pony wants to get her a cure and help, but she tells him that all is lost, and that they should leave, while she creates a distraction. Zizzy then hugs Pony and all three of them say goodbye.
Plot For a Distraction
Shortly after Pony and the Detective leave the Refinery, Zizzy tells herself to get a hold of herself, stating that her injury is just a scratch. She leaves the cell, and starts seeing hallucinations of her sisters, and strange creatures. Upon setting three stacks dynamite to the boilers/tanks, Zizzy escapes just before they go off. As she enters the exit, she suddenly finds herself in a dark area, in front of a mysterious figure. In this area, he talks about how he used to be a quiet child until he made a friend and became like it. He then wonders if Zee will become like him. Zizzy yells at him to not mention her, and he then tries to make a deal with Zizzy, but she declines. The man then brings in an illusion of Pony. Zizzy initially believes it's a fake but eventually falls for it. Eventually, TIO makes the illusion disappear and Zizzy willing to make a deal, she tries to shake hands but is grabbed by a figure.
Legacy
Although not physically seen herself, Zizzy's empty and dark room can be found in The Safe Place. A drawing of her was made by Zee and Zuzy saying "Happy family day big sis! Here's to the best sister ever!" Zizzy is also mentioned in Zee's journal saying "Nov 4: Zizzy didn't come back. I have to stay strong for Zuzy." She is mentioned by Georgie in the ending cutscene, who tells Willow: "Leave him alone! You took Zizzy away from us!" She also appears as one of the illusions in Temple - Chapter 10, in an attempt to make the Player join TIO.
Cured
After the credits play during the Hidden Ending, another cutscene starts which is presumably a memory with Zizzy back. This cutscene takes place at Kona's home. Pony says that the price of carrots skyrocketed, so Zizzy suggests that he makes a carrot farm, whereupon Pony eats his words and says that the price might not be that bad after all. However, the ending zooms away, revealing one of the distorted portals and presumably something watching from the other side.
Personality
Zizzy is noted to be a strong-willed and brave person, and deeply cares about her sisters and friends. She is described by the Player in their journal as a cunning and skilled fighter. She's shown to be quite smart, since she managed to pull off a good distraction in the refinery so Player and Pony were escaping. Her personality is somewhat opposite from Pony's; while Zizzy is intelligent and fearless, Pony is rather clumsy according to the Player, and isn't the kind of person to speak up for himself. Despite her friendly demeanor, she is willing to scold her sisters when they get into trouble, shown when she scolded Zuzy for breaking into Eddy's mansion with Zee. Still, she cared about her sisters and wanted to protect them. She felt guilty for not being able to see her sisters again, and had visions of them during her plan to distract T.S.P. She has a strong relationship with Pony, having known him since she was young and lived with him in the Safe Place during the infection. In her finals moments with Pony and the Player, she hugged the former goodbye before they left. After seeing Pony in TIO's realm, she became vulnerable, to the point where she wanted to accept TIO's deal. She cared about the people she knew and continued to fight until the end.

This group captured her, locked her in a holding cell, and presumably sent a bunch of the infected at her. Trivia
- She was the first friendly NPC to automatically knock out the infected without the need for an item. The only other friendly NPCs to do this are Willow in Ship - Chapter 8 and Pony in Camp - Chapter 11, along with Willow.
- Two items can be given to her at the same time, which are batteries and grass.
- She is the first NPC which can be interacted with two items in the same chapter, the second being Pony in the Refinery.
- Her hat is a recolored variant of the Stylish Musketeer hat from the Roblox Catalog.[2]
- Her weapon can be found in the Roblox Catalog.[3]
- One of the ideas MiniToon had for Zizzy's name was Zebry.[4]
- Unlike Doggy and Bunny who uses their items as weapons or ammunition, both Zizzy and Pony consume them. They are the first Friendly NPCs to do so, the others being Georgie, Giraffy, Zee and Robby.
- Unlike Zoë Zebra (the character that Zizzy was based on), the stripes on her face go horizontally instead of vertically. Additionally, she only has one stripe on her left arm unlike her character basis who has two stripes on both arms. Interestingly, her old design has cheeks even though her character base lacks cheeks. This applies to Zee and Zuzy.
- She is the first friendly NPC that can be fed grass to stun Piggy. The second is Giraffy and the third is Zee.
- In one of his interviews with Ant_Antixx, MiniToon said that Zizzy and Pony are both younger than Willow, who in turn is younger than Doggy.
- MiniToon first confirmed on his Doggy's Funeral and Guesty livestream that Zizzy would come back after her appearance Book 2: Chapter 3.[5]. This ended up being true in Distraction and Lab's Hidden Ending.
- Her fencing foil doesn't appear anywhere in Piggy: Book 2, not even in her own room, where an empty case can be found. MiniToon once said in his Doggy's Funeral and Guesty livestream that there is a reason that we would discover in upcoming chapters, however a clear answer has still not been given.[6]
- Zizzy and her sisters were one of the options on a poll ran by MiniToon where he asked which characters the community would like to see more story of, with the other options being Bunny, the T.S.P. crew, and Mimi and Giraffy.[7]
- Raze spawns in Zizzy's room during The Safe Place, for unknown reasons, but it is likely for gameplay purposes.
